Abstract

The information entropy squeezing properties of the atom in motion interacting with the binomial states field via single photon transition are studied by means of quantum theory. The influences of the parameter of light field on the information entropy squeezing properties of the atom are investigated as the initial atom is in any state. The results indicate that the value of squeezed component of the atomic dipole, amplitude, squeezed time and squeezed direction of the atomic information entropy can be controlled by choosing the atomic initial state, the field structure parameter, the velocity of atomic motion. It is shown that the moving atom may exhibit the long time squeezing effect for some parameters.

Information entropy squeezing of the atom of an arbitrary initial state via the two-photon process

Xiaojuan Liu, Zhou Bing-Ju, Mao-Fa Fang +2 more

From the quantum information point of view we investigate the entropy squeezing properties of a two_level atom with arbitrary initial state interacting with the coherent field via the two_photon process. The influence of the initial state of the system on the atomic information entropy squeezing is discussed. The numerical results obtained from the uncertainly relation of quantum information entropy are compared with those obtained from the uncertainly relation of Heisenberg. It is shown that the number of squeezed component of the atomic dipole, squeezed frequency, squeezed amplitude and squeezed direction of the atomic information entropy squeezing can be controlled by choosing the initial atomic distribution angle, the atomic mixing degree and the relative phase of the field mode, respectively. Quantum information entropy is a remarkable precise measure for the atomic squeezing.

Influence of the motion of atomic mass centre and field mode structure on the field entropy squeezing

Mao-Fa Fang

The influence of the motion of atomic mass centre, field mode structure and initial mean photon number on the field entropy squeezing is investigated by means of the theory of quantum information entropy. It is shown that the motion of atomic mass center leads to the periodic evolution of the field entropy squeezing and this period depends on the field mode structure parameter; an increase in field-mode structure parameter results in not only shortening of the evolution period of the field entropy squeezing but also prolonging of the squeezing time; the field may exhibit long time entropy squeezing effect for some choieed system parameters.

Entropy squeezing of a moving atom and control of noise of the quantum mechanical channel via the two-photon process

Bingju Zhou, Xiaojuan Liu, Qingping Zhou +1 more

Based on the quantum information theory, we have investigated the entropy squeezing of a moving two-level atom interacting with the coherent field via the quantum mechanical channel of the two-photon process. The results are compared with those of atomic squeezing based on the Heisenberg uncertainty relation. The influences of the atomic motion and field-mode structure parameter on the atomic entropy squeezing and on the control of noise of the quantum mechanical channel via the two-photon process are examined. Our results show that the squeezed period, duration of optimal entropy squeezing of a two-level atom and the noise of the quantum mechanical channel can be controlled by appropriately choosing the atomic motion and the field-mode structure parameter, respectively. The quantum mechanical channel of two-photon process is an ideal channel for quantum information (atomic quantum state) transmission. Quantum information entropy is a remarkably accurate measure of the atomic squeezing.

From a quantum information point of view we investigate the entropy squeezing properties for a two-level atom interacting with the two-mode coherent fields via the two-photon transition. We discuss the influences of the initial state of the system on the atomic information entropy squeezing. Our results show that the squeezed component number, squeezed direction, and time of the information entropy squeezing can be controlled by choosing atomic distribution angle, the relative phase between the atom and the two-mode field, and the difference of the average photon number of the two field modes, respectively. The atomic entropy squeezing in Raman transition is studied by means of quantum information entropy theory. The influences of the initial parameters of the system on the atomic information entropy squeezing are presented. It is shown that the squeezed component number, depth and squeezed direction of the information entropy squeezing can be controlled by choosing atomic distribution angle, the relative phase between the two-mode field and the different of the average photon number of the two field modes, respectively. It is also shown that quantum information entropy is a remarkable precision measure for the atomic squeezing.
