Entropy Exchange in Coupled Field-Superconducting Charge Qubit System with Intrinsic Decoherence

Abstract

Based on the intrinsic decoherence effect, partial entropy properties of a superconducting charge qubit inside a single-mode cavity field is investigated, and entropy exchange which is recently regarded as a kind of anti-correlated behavior of the entropy between subsystems is explored. Our results show that although the intrinsic decoherence leads to an effective irreversible evolution of the interacting system due to a suppression of coherent quantum features through the decay of off-diagonal matrix elements of the density operator and has an apparently influence on the partial entropy of two individual subsystems, it does not effect the entropy exchange between the two subsystems.

Entropy Exchange and Entanglement in Superconducting Charge Qubit Inside a Resonant Cavity with Intrinsic Decoherence

By considering the intrinsic decoherence effect, we investigate the entropy exchange and entanglement in the interacting system of a superconducting charge qubit coupled to a single-mode optical cavity. We found that although the intrinsic decoherence leads to an irreversible evolution of the interacting system due to a suppression of coherent quantum features through the decay of off-diagonal matrix elements of the density operator, and has an apparently influence on the partial entropies of the two-component subsystems, it dose not destroy entropy exchange behavior. In addition, the lower bound of the concurrence, as the measure of entanglement of the coupling system, is calculated. It is shown that the evolution of entanglement is sensitive to the change of the intrinsic decoherence.

Influence of Intrinsic Decoherence on Entanglement of Superconducting Charge Qubit in a Resonant Cavity

Liu Xiao-Nan, Shao Bin, Zou Jian

Taking the intrinsic decoherence effect into account, we investigate the entanglement dynamics of a superconducting charge qubit in a single-mode optical cavity. Concurrence, as the measure of entanglement of the coupled field-junction system, is calculated. In comparison, we also consider the entanglement of the system by using the entanglement parameter based on the ratio between mutual entropy and partial Von-Neumann entropy to investigate how the intrinsic decoherence affects the entanglement of the coupling system. Our results show that the evolution of the entanglement parameter has the behaviour similar to the concurrence and it is thus the well measure of entanglement for the mixed state in such a coupling system.

Entropy Squeezing in Coupled Field-Superconducting Charge Qubit with Intrinsic Decoherence

Yan Xue-Qun, Shao Bin, Zou Jian

We investigate the entropy squeezing in the system of a superconducting charge qubit coupled to a single mode field. We find an exact solution of the Milburn equation for the system and discuss the influence of intrinsic decoherence on entropy squeezing. As a comparison, we also consider the variance squeezing. Our results show that in the absence of the intrinsic decoherence both entropy and variance squeezings have the same periodic properties of time, and occur at the same range of time. However, when the intrinsic decoherence is considered, we find that as the time going on the entropy squeezing disappears fast than the variance squeezing, there exists a range of time where entropy squeezing can occur but variance squeezing cannot.

Entropy Correlations and Entanglement of a Superconducting Charge Qubit in a Resonant Cavity in the Presence of Noise

Hünkar Kayhan

We study the dynamics of the entropy correlations and entanglement in a system of interaction of a superconducting charge qubit with a single-mode resonant cavity subject to noise considered as two-state random phase telegraph noise. We show that although the noise has an apparent suppressing effect on the evolution of the entropies of the qubit and the field and also on the entanglement in the system, the entropy exchange between the qubit and the field is independent of it during the time evolution of the system.

Effects of intrinsic decoherence on various correlations and quantum dense coding in a two superconducting charge qubit system

Fei Wang, Parouke-Paerhati, Ahmad-Abliz

The influence of intrinsic decoherence on various correlations and dense coding in a model which consists of two identical superconducting charge qubits coupled by a fixed capacitor is investigated. The results show that, despite the intrinsic decoherence, the correlations as well as the dense coding channel capacity can be effectively increased via the combination of system parameters, i.e., the mutual coupling energy between the two charge qubits is larger than the Josephson energy of the qubit. The bigger the difference between them is, the better the effect is.

Wehrl entropy information and purity of a SC charge qubit interacting with a lossy cavity field

M. Sebaweh Abdalla, A.‐S. F. Obada, Eied Mahmoud Khalil +1 more

A system of a superconducting charge qubit with gate change ne≠12 interacting with a single-mode microwave cavity field, coupled to its reservoir, is introduced. The system is transformed into the usual Jaynes–Cummings model by canonical transformation. Analytical and numerical results under certain parametric conditions are obtained by means of which we analyze the influence of the damping terms and the detuning on the dynamics of Wehrl entropy and purity loss of the states. The results indicate the sensitivity of these aspects to change either in the decay or in the detuning parameters. An interesting relation between the correlation and decoherence effect is observed.
