Abstract

The generalized even and odd coheren t states (E-O CSs) of a finite-dimensional space non-harmonic oscillator are c onstructed, and their nonclassical properties are studied by numerical method. It is found that, compare to a infinite-dimensional space, with the dimensions numbe r reducing, the unusual squeezing phenomenon is seaken in both generalized E-O C Ss,the unusual antibunching phenomenon in generalized ECSs is enhanced. And the range of appearing unusual antibunching phenomenon is reduced but the degree of antibunching effect is enhanced in generalized OCSs.

Numerical Studies on the Nonclassical Properties of Odd Co herent States in a Finite-Dimensional Hilbert Space q-Deformation Harmonic Os cillator

Zhu Cong-xu

The influences of q deformation on the nonclassi cal properties of odd q-coherent states in a finite-dimensional Hibert spaces ( FDHS ) case are studied by numerical method. It is found that, while q1, the s queezing effect appears and antibunching effect disappears in some range of r-2. With q deformation increasing, the squeezing degree is stren gthened and the antibunching effect is weakened.

The higher order squeezing and antibunching effect for the odd and even generalized q coherent states of the non harmonic oscillator are investigated. It is shown that the odd and even generalized q coherent states of the non harmonic oscillator present higher order (order of odd number) squeezing effect and antibunching effect respectively, and these optical statistics properties are very different from those of the states of the harmonic oscillator.
