Abstract

We propose a feasible scheme for implementing probabilistic teleportation of an unknown atomic state. In this scheme, atom 1 is initially in an arbitrary state, atoms 2 and 3 are prepared in a partially entangled pure state. After receiving the result of Bell-state measurement performed by Alice on atoms 1 ant 2, Bob lets atoms 2 and auxiliary atom A simultaneously interact with a single-mode vacuum cavity. Only controlling the interact time, we can reconstruct the initial state of atom 1 on the atom 3, i.e. double of square of mode of smaller coefficient of superposition state serving as quantum channel. Moreover, our scheme is insensitive to cavity decay, because atoms are interacting with a large detuning vacuum cavity field.

Probabilistic teleportation of two-unknown entangled atomic states without Bell-State measurement

Xiaoyan Zhou, Fang Jian-Xing, Ni Hui-Ying

In this paper, we propose a protocol for teleportation of two unknown atomic states using non-maximally entangled states. We consider teleportation for atomic entangled states in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). Through analysis, we conclude that it could be succeed without joint BSM (Bell-State measurement). One BSM can be exactly converted into two separate atomic measurements on the two relevant atoms only by one step using the interaction between the atoms and atoms in the cavity. The most remarkable advantage of our scheme is that the teleportation and distillation procedure can be carried out concurrently. Suppose that the cavity mode is prepared in vacuum state. We can utilize the Hamiltonian for the system, discussing how to make teleportation successful. And we discuss the probability of reconstructing the initial state. We consider two identical two-level atoms simultaneously interacting with a single-mode cavity field. There is no energy exchange between the atomic system and the cavity, so we use the detuned interaction between atoms and atoms in cavity in the scheme which is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. For the resonant cavity, in order to realize the teleportation successfully, the relationship between the teleportation time and the excited atom lifetime should take into consideration. The time required to complete the teleportation should much shorter than that of atom radiation. Hence, atom with a sufficiently long excited lifetime should be chosen. The discussion of the scheme indicates that it can be realized by current technologies.

PROBABILISTIC TELEPORTATION OF A TWO-ATOM ENTANGLED STATE IN CAVITY QED

Jinming Liu, YI-CAI WANG, Xiao-Qi Xiao

We present two schemes for probabilistically teleporting a two-atom entangled state using a three-atom partially entangled state as the quantum channel in cavity QED with the help of separate atomic measurements. The first scheme is only based on the interaction between two driven atoms and a quantized cavity mode in the large detuning limit, so the effects of both cavity decay and the thermal field are eliminated. In the second scheme, it is necessary to introduce an additional resonant cavity besides the thermal cavity to realize the teleportation, and the corresponding success probability is improved.

Probabilistic teleportation of an unknown N -atom state using a two-atom nonmaximally entangled state in cavity QED

Lin Xiu, Hongcai Li, Rong‐Can Yang

We present a scheme for realizing probabilistic teleportation of an unknown N -atom state via cavity QED. This scheme requires only a nonmaximally entangled pair to be used as a quantum channel, so the requirement of entanglement is reduced. In addition, our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay, which is important from the experimental point of view. If the quantum channel is a two-atom maximally entangled state, teleportation of an unknown N -atom state can be realized by a simpler scheme via cavity QED.

Probabilistic Teleportation of an Arbitrary Two-Atom State in Cavity QED

Liu Jin-Ming

We propose a scheme for the teleportation of an arbitrary two-atom state by using two pairs of two-atom nonmaximally entangled states as the quantum channel in cavity QED. It is shown that no matter whether the arbitrary two-atom pure state to be teleported is entangled or not, our teleportation scheme can always be probabilistically realized. The success probability of teleportation is determined by the smaller coefficients of the two initially entangled atom pairs.

The Scheme for the Teleportation of an Arbitrary Two-atom State in Driven Cavity QED

Tang-Kun Liu

A scheme for the teleportation of an arbitrary two-atom state in driven cavity QED has been proposed. In the teleportation, the maximally two-atom entangled state is required as the quantum channel. The scheme does not require direct Bell-state measurement, but contains Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay and thermal field.Meanwhile, the scheme can also be used to the teleportation of unknown three-atom GHZ state, the probability of the success in the teleportation is 1.0.

Scheme for Controlled Teleportation of Single Atomic State in Cavity QED

Gang Zhang

A controlled teleportation scheme for single atomic quantum state is proposed in cavity QED.The scheme is based on the large detuning interaction of the atom-cavity system, therefore,it is not insensitive to the decoherence induced by cavity decay. The scheme also incorporates a third party to control the process, and only with the cooperation of the third party, the receiver can successfully reconstruct the original atom state. Finally, the feasibility of the experimentally realization of the scheme is also discussed.
