Relations between anti-bunching effect and entanglement of two-mode Schrdinger cat states

Abstract

Aimed at the relations between the anti-bunching effect and the entanglement in two-mode even/odd coherent states(two-mode Schdinger cat states),the paper is mainly devoted to study on the second-order correlation function g(2)(τ) and the entanglement degree of the quantum state. The study reveals that the quantum state has an obvious anti-bunching effect. The paper offers the entanglement degree of the quantum state by calculating the Von Neumann entropy, depending on the non-negative eigenvalue of the reduced density operator.Numerical analysis reveals that both entanglement and anti-bunching effect of two even/odd coherent states, affected by phase and amplitude, are the periodic functions of phase φ.The increasing value of the entanglement in period means the increase in anti-bunching effect.

Relations Between Entanglement and Squeezing in Two-Mode Even/Odd Coherent States

Wang Li

Relations between entanglement and squeezing of two-mode even/odd coherent states(or cat) are studied by calculating the entanglement and squeezed function.Analytic expressions for the entanglement degree and squeezing function of two even/odd coherent states are the phasic function for .As the value of the entanglement degree in period increases, the squeezing effect become weaken.

Antibunching Effect of the Excited Two-Parameter Deformed Even and Odd Coherent States

Jun Jiang

The excited odd qs-coherent state and excited even qs-coherent state are constructed. The q , s , and m dependences of the antibunching effect are numerically studied. It is shown that for small r , the excited even qs-coherent state exhibits strong antibunching effect but the even qs-coherent state exhibits strong bunching effect; When the q ( q ≤ 1) is far from 1, as r2 increase, the second-order qs-correlation function exhibits oscillating phenomenon (i.e. alternates between antibunching effect and bunching effect) , whose amplitude and period increase as s and q decrease, but are approximately independent of m; When q→1, the second-order qs-correlation function also exhibits oscillating phenomenon, whose amplitude and period not only increase as 5 decreases but also are dependent on m; In general, the second-order qs -correlation function is more sensitive to s than to q .

The entanglement and second-order coherence function in a two-atom nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model

Chuan Mo, Kai Xu, Guo‐Feng Zhang

Abstract The influence of the Kerr nonlinearity on the two two-level atoms entanglement is investigated in Jaynes–Cummings model (JCM), so that one of atoms is inside the cavity field and the other atom is outside it. We show that the entanglement of atoms increases with the decrease of the phase decoherence rate or Kerr coefficient, when considering the effect of external environment. Then due to the statistic properties of the anti-bunching effect of photons are related to entanglement, the nonlinear JCM is examined theoretically to analyze the bunching or anti-bunching effect by using the second-order coherence function. We find that the second-order coherence function decreases with the Kerr coefficient. Our results show that the field reflects the stronger bunching effect with the bigger average photon number.

Photon antibunching effect in the system of two-mode entangled coherent states interacting with a moving V-type three-level atom

Zhuo‐Liang Cao

By means of solving Schrdinger equation and numerical calculations, photon bunching and antibunching effect in the system of the two-mode entangled coherent states interacting with a moving V-type three-level atom is investigated. The results indicate that the effect of photon bunching and antibunching in the system intensively depend on mean photon numbers of the two-mode entangled coherent states and the speed of the atom. For a special mean photon number, the velocity of atom will afftect the effect of photon bunching and antibunching intensively. For those relatively large mean photon numbers, the initial state of the atom and the degree of entanglement of the two-mode entangled coherent states have no influences on the effect of photon bunching and antibunching. For those relatively small mean photon numbers, the initial state of the atom and the degree of entanglement of the two-mode entangled coherent states only have slight influences on the effect of photon bunching and antibunching.

Yongxin Zhan

In the paper, a new kind of even and odd nonlinear coherent states is constructed in the Fock space. By using numerical method, their quantum statistical properties such as amplitude-squeezing and anti-bunching are investigated. These results show that in the range of , the new kind of even and odd coherent states appear amplitude-squeezing effect in the direction X2 and anti-bunching effect.

Quantum Entanglement in An Interacting System of Moving Atom and Schrdinger Cat State

LI Peng-ma

Entanglement degrees in an interacting system of moving atom and Schrdinger cat state were studied by using the fully quantum theory and algebraic dynamics in the J-C model. The influence of the probability of atom in the ground, the velocity of atomic motion, the transition photon number, the original strength of the light field, the detuning and the two macroscopic coherent phase angles in the Schrdinger cat state on the entanglement properties of the system are discussed. The numerical results show that the odd or even transition photon number can produce great influence on the entanglement of the system. As the transition photon number is odd,the quantity of detuning can make the entanglement disappear suddenly. The increase of the velocity of atomic motion will make entanglement degrees decrease, and transition frequency becomes faster. When the transition photon number is even, and the probability of atom in the ground state is greater than that of atom in the excited state,it will make the entanglement degrees vanish suddenly. But under the same condition, the velocity of atomic motion will not affect the entanglement properties.
