Abstract

A quantum signaling transmission system of multi-user is presented, and the transmission process signaling channel is introduced. The damage model maliciously attacked by the third party is analyzed in the transmission process, and the idea of decoy state is introduced to the safety of quantum signaling in direct communication. To overcome photon number splitting(PNS) attack, light pulses are sent using different light intensities, which also improve the safety of the signal transmission. The simulation result shows that repair strategy of multi-user quantum signaling transmission system being attacked can effective detect the PNS attack, and increase distance of security transmission,to ensure the signaling transmission process safely and effectively.

Probability model of quantum signaling transmission damage and repair strategy

Changxing Pei

A quantum signaling transmission scheme based on quantum entanglement, local unitary operation and teleportation is proposed for signaling transmission in a multiuser quantum signaling network with multi-stage hierarchy level network topology. The analytical result shows that the scheme is secure in case of eavesdropping attack including intercept-measure-resend attacks,intercept-replace and adding-ancilla attacks.Consequently, the probability model of quantum signaling transmission damage probability and the repair strategy of the damage of quantum signaling are presented, and the probability model in noise background and non-ideal traditional channel has very low complexity.

Classical Simulation Study for Decoy-state of Quantum Cryptography

Xiaoyu Chen

The simulation method of decoy-state based on coherent states was proposed in this paper. We analyze the yield ratio of decoy pulses and signal pulses at the output, and verified the effectiveness of decoy state in overcoming the photon-number-splitting(PNS) attack. In addition,we take the yield ratio as a threshold that used to examine whether there exist a PNS attack. We simulate the average photon number 0,0.2,0.6,as the vacuum, signal and decoy, respectively. In the case of the channel loss is 0.2dB/km,detection efficiency is 20%,and dark count is 10-5,the results of simulation show the secure communication distance is up to 140km.Due to the classical computer simulation,a new scheme for quantum information research is provided.

Poisson survival model of quantum entanglement signaling network and fidelity analysis

Min Nie, Zhang Lin, Liu Xiaohui

Quantum signaling states have decoherence because of the environment during the transmission. It causes signaling damage and thus will have impact on building high survivability quantum entanglement signaling network. In order to study the influence deeply, Poisson damage model of quantum signaling network is established. First, disaster magnitude is defined base on signaling fidelity. Second, average damage signaling quantum bits and survival function of quantum signaling network is put forward by basic quantum theory. At last, research on the signaling damage repair strategy and simulation is analyzed. Simulation results show that increasing of disaster magnitude will greatly reduce the signaling network survivability. However, increasing the nodes and controlling signaling damage caps may improve survivability. The repair strategy which costs small number of cycles can rapidly increase the signaling fidelity from 0.6 to 0.9 and the survival function of the signaling network from 0.4 to 0.9.

The security of decoy state protocol in the partial photon number splitting attack

Dong Liu, Shuang Wang, Zhen−Qiang Yin +2 more

The decoy state protocol was proposed to overcome the primitive photon number splitting attack. When using a better strategy, the attacker can ensure that the ratio of the overall gain of the signal state pulse against the decoy state pulse changes very little, even to keep the overall gain of the signal state pulses equal to that obtained without attacker. In this paper we first give a model of the partial photon number splitting attack which contains the original one, and then find that the decoy state protocol still works effectively under the partial photon number splitting attack.

Decoy state quantum secret sharing protocol with collective detection

Ying Mao Xie, Bin Liu, Xingyu Li +3 more

The quantum secret sharing protocol with collective detection has garnered significant attention due to its high communication efficiency and low demands on agent capabilities. However, practical implementations face challenges such as intolerance to channel loss and insufficient practical security analysis. To address these issues, this paper proposes a decoy quantum secret sharing protocol with collective detection. First, we analyze the potential security threats posed by multi-photon signals and propose two attack methods, rigorously demonstrating their severe impact on protocol security. Subsequently, to mitigate the adverse effects of multi-photon signals, we introduce a decoy state strategy to enhance the protocol’s reliability under non-ideal conditions. Finally, detailed security analysis against the proposed attacks confirms that the improved protocol effectively resists both attacks even in non-ideal scenarios, thereby ensuring secure and reliable quantum secret sharing.
