Abstract

We compare the single and N Quantum Dots Hamiltonians with the corresponding TLA's described by the Jaynes-Cummings and Dicke Models respectively. The nonperturbative approach and the perturbative approach for the second one, allows us to explore cooperative and other common features.

Comparison of the Dicke model and the Hamiltonian for n quantum dots

José Javier Sánchez-Mondragón, A. Alejo-Molina, Sergio Sanchez-Sanchez +1 more

CQED has been an active field of research for the last three decades, describing the intimacy of the interaction of radiation and matter in small volumes λ3, and have demonstrated that modifies not only the nature of this interaction, but also atomic characteristic that often were thought intrinsic, such as spontaneous emission or the very quantum nature of the interaction. These conditions have acquired quite an importance for the current activity on Quantum computation and Information. However, most of that activity has been developed in the conceptual and experimental framework of atomic systems. There is evidence that such features also occurs in Quantum Dots. We compare the Dicke and Jaynes Cummings dynamics of atoms described by the Hamiltonian of Quantum Dots, and develop the SU(2) perturbative approach in the regimen where the excitation number (atoms + photons) is larger than the number of atoms L. We exhibit the dynamical detuning produced by the Forster interaction.

A GENERALIZED JAYNES-CUMMINGS MODEL WITH INTENSITY-DEPENDENT COUPLING

Peng Zhou, 彭金生

Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM) for describing a two-level atom interacting with a single-mode radiation field via the one-photon transition is one of the important theoretical models in quantum optics. Recently, Sukumar et al. have generalized the JCM to

One Generalization of the Dicke-Type Models

Denis V. Kurlov, Aleksey K. Fedorov, A. S. Garkun +1 more

We discuss one family of possible generalizations of the Jaynes-Cummings and the Tavis-Cummings models using the technique of algebraic Bethe ansatz related to the Gaudin-type models. In particular, we present a family of (generically) non-Hermitian Hamiltonians that generalize paradigmatic quantum-optical models. Further directions of our research include studying physical properties of the obtained generalized models.

Full Analytic Spectrum of Generalized Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonians

Adjimon Joseph Adanmitonde, Gabriel Y. H. Avossevou

We develop an analytic formalism using basic quantum mechanics techniques to successfully solve the multiphoton Jaynes–Cummings and the generalized Dicke Hamiltonians. For this, we split the Hamiltonians of these models into two operators that have the properties of constants of motion for these systems. We then use some well-known operator properties to obtain complete analytic spectra for the considered models.

Jaynes-Cummings Model and Extended Jaynes-Cummings Models

Zou Yan

The quantum properties of Jaynes-Cummings model are expounded in this paper.Several extended Jaynes-Cummings models and their Hamiltonians are also introduced. On this basis, the quantum properties in the systems when they interact with one or two mode fields are discussed.

Annihilation operators and coherent states for the Jaynes-Cummings model

Yves Bérubé-Lauzière, Véronique Hussin, Luis Miguel Nieto

An alternative way of diagonalizing the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian is proposed and allows the definition of annihilation operators and coherent states for this model. Mean values and dispersions over these states are computed and interpreted. Limiting cases which are physically interesting are also examined.
