Abstract

The four-particle EPR entangled state | p ,χ 2 ,χ 3 ,χ 4 ⟩ is constructed. The corresponding quantum mechanical operator with respect to the classical transformation p → e λ 1 p , χ 2 → e λ 2 χ 2 , χ 3 → e λ 3 χ 3 , and χ 4 → e λ 4 χ 4 in the state | { p ,χ 2 ,χ 3 ,χ 4 }⟩ is investigated, and the four-mode realization of the SU(1,1) Lie algebra as well as the corresponding squeezing operators are presented.

Squeezing Transformation of Three-Mode Entangled State

Xiao-Qing Qian, Song Tong-Qiang

We introduce the three-mode entangled state and set up an experiment to generate it. Then we discuss the three-mode squeezing operator squeezed | p , χ 2 , χ 3 ⟩ → μ -3/2 | p /μ, χ 2 /μ, χ 3 /μ ⟩ and the optical implement to realize such a squeezed state. We also reveal that c -number asymmetric shrink transform in the three-mode entangled state, i.e. | p , χ 2 , χ 3 ⟩ → μ -1/2 | p /μ, χ 2 , χ 3 ⟩, maps onto a kind of one-sided three-mode squeezing operator exp {iλ/3 (∑ i =1 3 P i ) (∑ i =1 3 Q i ) − λ/2}. Using the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, we derive their normally ordered forms and construct the corresponding squeezed states.

Multi-Partite EPR Entangled State Representation for Continuous Variables and Its Application in Squeezing Theory

姜年权

By extending the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) bipartite entanglement to an n-partite case, we construct the common eigenstate of the n-partite total coordinate and relative momenta for the continuous variables. The entanglement property of the state is shown. The classical dilation transform of variables in such a state induces a new n-mode squeezing operator related to an n-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(1,1) Lie algebra.

New Three-Mode Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entangled State Representation and Its Application in Squeezing Theory

Fan Hong-Yi, Nian-Quan Jiang

By extending the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen bipartite entanglement to the tripartite case, we construct the common eigenvector of the tripartite centre-of-mass coordinate and two mass-weighted relative momenta, which is a new entangled state of continuum variables. The classical dilation transform of variables in such a state induces a new three-mode squeezing operator related to a three-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(1,1) Lie algebra.

New 3-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(2) Lie algebra: From the point of view of squeezing

Cheng Da, Qian-Fan Chen, Hong-Yi Fan

We consider the quantum mechanical SU(2) transformation e 2λ J z J ± e −2λ J z = e ±2λ J ± as if the meaning of squeezing with e ±2λ being squeezing parameter. By studying SU(2) operators ( J ± , J z ) from the point of view of squeezing we find that ( J ± , J z ) can also be realized in terms of 3-mode bosonic operators. Employing this realization, we find the natural representation (the eigenvectors of J + or J − ) of the 3-mode squeezing operator e 2λ J z . The idea of considering quantum SU(2) transformation as if squeezing is liable for us to obtain the new bosonic operator realization of SU(2) and new squeezing operators.
