Abstract

A conclusive teleportation protocol of a d -dimensional two-particle unknown quantum state using three d -dimensional particles in an arbitrary pure state is proposed. A sender teleports the unknown state conclusively to a receiver by using the positive operator valued measure(POVM) and introducing an ancillary qudit to perform the generalized Bell basis measurement. We calculate the optimal teleportation fidelity. We also discuss and analyse the reason why the information on the teleported state is lost in the course of the protocol.

Conclusive Teleportation of an Arbitrary Three-Particle State via Positive Operator-Valued Measurement

Liu Hong, Xiao-Qi Xiao, Liu Jin-Ming

We present a scheme for conclusive teleportation of an arbitrary and unknown three-particle state by performing three Bell-state measurements at the sender's side and a positive operator-valued measurement at the receiver's side. Moreover, we obtain the successful probability of teleportation and make a brief discussion on the average fidelity for the conclusive teleportation scheme.

Optimal Conclusive Teleportation of an Arbitrary d -Dimensional N -Particle Unknown State via a Partially Entangled Quantum Channel

Hao San-Ru, Hou Bo-Yu, Xiao-Qiang Xi +1 more

In this paper we generalize the standard teleportation to the conclusive teleportation case which can teleport an arbitrary d-dimensional N-particle unknown state via the partially entangled quantum channel. We show that only if the quantum channel satisfies a constraint condition can the most general d-dimensional N-particle unknown state be perfect conclusively teleported. We also present a method for optimal conclusively teleportation of the N-particle states and for constructing the joint POVM which can discern the quantum states on the sender's (Alice's) side. Two typical examples are given so that one can see how our method works.

Multiparty-controlled teleportation of an arbitrarym-qudit state with a pure entangled quantum channel

Ping Zhou, Xihan Li, Fu‐Guo Deng +1 more

We present a general scheme for multiparty-controlled teleportation of an arbitrary m -qudit ( d -dimensional quantum system) state by using non-maximally entangled states as the quantum channel. The sender performs m generalized Bell-state measurements on her 2 m particles, the controllers take some single-particle measurements with the measuring basis X d and the receiver only needs to introduce one auxiliary two-level particle to extract quantum information probabilistically with the fidelity unit if he cooperates with all the controllers. All the parties can use some decoy photons to set up their quantum channel securely, which will forbid a dishonest party to eavesdrop freely. This scheme is optimal as the probability that the receiver obtains the originally unknown m -qudit state equals the entanglement of the quantum channel.

We present a general scheme for multiparty-controlled teleportation of an arbitrary m-qudit ($d$-dimensional quantum system) state by using non-maximally entangled states as the quantum channel. The sender performs m generalized Bell-state measurements on her 2$m$ particles, the controllers take some single-particle measurements with the measuring basis $X_{d}$ and the receiver only need to introduce one auxiliary two-level particle to extract quantum information probabilistically with the fidelity unit if he cooperates with all the controllers. All the parties can use some decoy photons to set up their quantum channel securely, which will forbid some a dishonest party to eavesdrop freely. This scheme is optimal as the probability that the receiver obtains the originally unknown m-qudit state equals to the entanglement of the quantum channel.

PERFECT TELEPORTATION OF UNKNOWN QUDIT BY A d-LEVEL GHZ CHANNEL

Yinxiang Long, Daowen Qiu, Dongyang Long

In the past decades, various schemes of teleportation of quantum states through different types of quantum channels (a prior shared entangled state between the sender and the receiver), e.g. EPR pairs, generalized Bell states, qubit GHZ states, standard W states and its variations, genuine multiqubit entanglement states, etc., have been developed. Recently, three-qutrit quantum states and two-qudit quantum states have also been considered as quantum channels for teleportation. In this paper, we investigate the teleportation of an unknown qudit using a d level GHZ state, i.e. a three-qudit maximally entangled state, as quantum channel. We design a general scheme of faithful teleportation of an unknown qudit using a d-level GHZ state shared between the sender and the receiver, or among the sender, the receiver and the controller; an unknown two-qudit of Schmidt form using a d level GHZ state shared between the sender and the receiver; as well as an unknown arbitrary two-qudit using two shared d level GHZ states between the sender, the receiver and the controller, or using one shared d level GHZ state and one shared generalized Bell state. We obtain the general formulas of Alice's measurement basis, Charlie's measurement basis and Bob's unitary operations to recover the input state of Alice. It is intuitionistic to generalize the protocols of teleporting an arbitrary two-qudit state to teleporting an arbitrary n-qudit state.

Conclusive teleportation of ad-dimensional unknown state

Wonmin Son, Jinhyoung Lee, M. S. Kim +1 more

We formulate a conclusive teleportation protocol for a system in d-dimensional Hilbert space utilizing the positive operator-valued measurement. The conclusive teleportation protocol ensures some perfect teleportation events when the channel is only partially entangled, at the expense of lowering the overall average fidelity. We discuss how much information remains in the inconclusive parts of the teleportation.
