Abstract

We obtain the normally ordered form of the general multimode exponential operator by means of parameter differentiation method and its antinormally ordered form by virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators. As an application, we obtain a new completeness relation in -mode Fock space.

Normally ordering some multimode exponential operators by virtue of the IWOP technique

Fan Hong-Yi

The author shows that the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) provides one with a very simple approach to deriving the normal product form of some multimode exponential operators, which greatly simplifies the calculations of normalising some state vectors in Hilbert space.

Normally Ordered and Antinormally Ordered Expansions of Some Exponential Operators in Hilbert Space

Fan Hong-Yi

In this paper, the completeness relations of the fundamental representations in quantum mechanics, together with the "integration within orderd product" technique are exploited to derive normally ordered and antinormally ordered expansions of some exponential operators in Hilbert space. Applications of the normally ordered exponential operators to evaluating Feynman matrix element in coherent state representation are given, which seems to be a new approach.

The IWOP Method of Normally Ordering Multimode Exponential Operators

Luo-Yu Feng

This paper states that the technique of integration within ordered product (IWOP) provides us with a generally effective approach to normally ordering multimode exponential operators. In fact, all the operators listed in Ref. [5] can be normally ordered by virtue of IWOP, in contrast to the comment of Ref. [5].

Ordering of the exponential of a quadratic in boson operators. II. Multimode case

Govind Prasad Agrawal, C. L. Mehta

We derive the Weyl, the normal, and the antinormal ordered forms of the exponential of a multimode quadratic expression in boson operators. The trace of this exponential operator is also evaluated.

The Coherent-State Method of Normally Ordering Multimode Exponential Operators

Gong Ren-shan

This work shows that the coherent-state method provides us a very simple approach to normally ordering multimode exponential operators, many of which can't be normally ordered simply by the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP).
