Dif ferent entanglement dynamics and transfer behaviors due to dipole-dipole interaction

We analyze entanglement dynamics and transfer in a system composed of two initially correlated two-level atoms, in which each atom is coupled with another atom interacting with its own reservoir.Considering atomic dipole-dipole interactions, the results show that dipole-dipole interactions restrain the entanglement birth of the reservoirs, and a parametric region of dipole-dipole interaction strength exists in which the maximal entanglement of two initially uncorrelated atoms is reduced. The transfer of entanglement shows obvious different behaviors in two initial Bell-like states.

Modeling of entanglement behavior of two dipole-coupled superconducting qubits interacting with quantum fields in lossless cavities

Л. Д. Покроєва, Т. В. Дрожжина, Коченгіна М.В.

We have investigated the entanglement dynamics between two initially entangled superconducting qubits interacting with vacuum fields of one or two independent coplanar 1D resonators. Three types of two-qubits generalized Jaynes-Cummings models with different atom-field coupling constants and detunings and direct dipole-dipole interaction has been considered. Using the dressed-states technique we have derived the exact solutions for models under consideration. The computer modeling of the time dependence of qubit-qubit entanglement (negativity) has been carried out for different strength of the dipole-dipole interaction. Results show that dipole-dipole interaction may be used for entanglement control.

Atomic motion and dipole–dipole effects on the stability of atom–atom entanglement in Markovian/non-Markovian reservoir

Sare Golkar, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

In this paper, we consider the entanglement dynamics of two identical qubits (two-level atoms) accompanied by dipole–dipole interaction within a common reservoir in the strong and weak coupling regimes. We suppose that the qubits move in the reservoir which is at zero temperature. Using the time-dependent Schrödinger equation, the state vector of the qubits-reservoir system is obtained by which we can evaluate the concurrence as a suitable measure of entanglement between the two qubits. The results show that by choosing special initial conditions for the qubits, a different dynamical behavior of entanglement is visible in such a way that entanglement protection occurs. Also, we find that the qubit motion in the absence of dipole–dipole interaction leads to preservation or at least more slowly decay of entanglement. However, in the presence of dipole–dipole interaction with the movement of qubits, different results can be observed which depend on the initial states of the qubits, i.e. entanglement may or may not be protected.
