Intelligent Quantum Information Processing

Pampa Debnath, Arpan Deyasi, Siddhartha Bhattacharyya

The advent of quantum computing platforms has aroused a great deal of enthusiasm among information scientists to use them to their advantage. Be it evolving efficient quantum computing hardware or be it designing efficient quantum algorithms, information scientists are embarking on every possible avenue to add value to the existing information systems through the use of quantum computing principles and practices. The quantum computing paradigm, being characterized by the inherent features of interference, superposition, entanglement, decoherence, and measurement, offers efficient, secured, and robust solutions to challenging real-life problems. Efforts are, therefore, continually invested to envisage efficient information systems and devices inspired by quantum computing principles.
