Abstract

A novel quantum secret sharing (QSS) scheme is proposed on the basis of Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT). In the scheme, the classical messages are mapped to secret sequences according to CRT equations, and distributed to different receivers by different dimensional superdense-coding respectively. CRT's secret sharing function, together with high-dimensional superdense-coding, provide convenience, security, and large capability quantum channel for secret distribution and recovering. Analysis shows the security of the scheme.

Multiparty weighted threshold quantum secret sharing based on the Chinese remainder theorem to share quantum information

Yao–Hsin Chou, Guo-Jyun Zeng, Xingyu Chen +1 more

Secret sharing is a widely-used security protocol and cryptographic primitive in which all people cooperate to restore encrypted information. The characteristics of a quantum field guarantee the security of information; therefore, many researchers are interested in quantum cryptography and quantum secret sharing (QSS) is an important research topic. However, most traditional QSS methods are complex and difficult to implement. In addition, most traditional QSS schemes share classical information, not quantum information which makes them inefficient to transfer and share information. In a weighted threshold QSS method, each participant has each own weight, but assigning weights usually costs multiple quantum states. Quantum state consumption will therefore increase with the weight. It is inefficient and difficult, and therefore not able to successfully build a suitable agreement. The proposed method is the first attempt to build multiparty weighted threshold QSS method using single quantum particles combine with the Chinese remainder theorem (CRT) and phase shift operation. The proposed scheme allows each participant has its own weight and the dealer can encode a quantum state with the phase shift operation. The dividing and recovery characteristics of CRT offer a simple approach to distribute partial keys. The reversibility of phase shift operation can encode and decode the secret. The proposed weighted threshold QSS scheme presents the security analysis of external attacks and internal attacks. Furthermore, the efficiency analysis shows that our method is more efficient, flexible, and simpler to implement than traditional methods.

High-efficient quantum secret sharing based on the Chinese remainder theorem via the orbital angular momentum entanglement analysis

Ying Guo, Yuqian Zhao

We investigate a novel quantum secret sharing (QSS) based on the Chinese remainder theory (CRT) in multi-dimensional Hilbert space with the orbital angular momentum (OAM) entanglement analysis. The secret is divided and then allotted to two or more participants who prepare pairs of photons in the OAM-entanglement states. The initial secret can be restored jointly by legal participants via the OAM-entanglement analysis on the corresponding photons. Its security is guaranteed from the OAM entanglement of photons that are established through the spin angular momentum (SAM) entanglement analysis performed on the generated SAM-based OAM hybrid entanglement photons. It provides an alternative technique for the QSS while producing the OAM entanglement photons in the combined multi-dimensional OAM Hilbert space, where the CRT is conducted properly for sharing the conventional secret among legal participants.

Quantum Group Signature Scheme Based on Chinese Remainder Theorem

Xin Sun, Ying Guo, Jinjing Shi +3 more

A novel quantum group signature scheme is proposed based on Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT), in order to improve the security of quantum signature. The generation and verification of the signature can be successfully conducted only if all the participants cooperate with each other and with the message owner's and the arbitrator's help. The quantum parallel algorithm is applied to efficiently compare the restored quantum message to the original quantum message. All the operations in signing and verifying phase can be executed in quantum circuits. It has a wide application to E-payment system, Online contract, Online notarization and etc.

Authenticable dynamic hierarchical quantum multi-secret sharing scheme

yuehua Li, Zhaowei Han, yanan Liu +1 more

Abstract Quantum secret sharing plays an essential role in quantum cryptography. This paper proposes a dynamic hierarchical quantum multi-secret sharing scheme based on linear homogeneous recurrence (LHR) relations. In the scheme, the distributor aggregates multiple secrets into a single master secret using the Chinese Remainder theorem (CRT), and then implements a special hierarchical structure based on LHR relations, generating corresponding shares for the participants. Participants use the generalized Pauli operators to encode their shares into the quantum state to reconstruct multiple secrets. During the transmission of the quantum state, participants can authenticate each other, thereby enhancing the security of the communication process. Additionally, the proposed scheme is dynamic, allowing for the dynamic update of the participants’ set. Security analysis demonstrates that the scheme can resist measurement attacks, intercept-resend attacks, entanglement-measurement attacks, Trojan horse attacks, forgery attacks, collusion attacks, as well as revoked or downgraded participant attacks.

Continuous Variable Quantum Secret Sharing with Fairness

Ye Eun Kang, Ying Guo, Hai Zhong +2 more

The dishonest participants have many advantages to gain others’ shares by cheating in quantum secret sharing (QSS) protocols. However, the traditional methods such as identity authentication and message authentication can not resolve this problem due to the reason that the share has already been released to dishonest participants before realizing the deception. In this paper, a continuous variable QSS (CVQSS) scheme is proposed with fairness which ensures all participants can acquire or can not acquire the secret simultaneously. The quantum channel based on two-mode squeezing states provides secure communications through which it can send shares successfully, as long as setting the squeezing and modulation parameters according to the quantum channel transmission efficiency and the Shannon information of shares. In addition, the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) can provides tunable threshold structures according to demands of the complex quantum network and the strategy for fairness can be incorporated with other sharing schemes, resulting in perfect compatibility for practical implementations.

Weighted Threshold Quantum Secret Sharing Based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem and the Phase Shift Operation

Wei-Lun Yeoh, Xingyu Chen, Guo-Jyun Zeng +1 more

Threshold quantum secret sharing schemes are incredibly complex systems, making even constructed schemes so complicated as to be very difficult to implement. In addition, most of these schemes share classical information rather than true quantum information. Weighted threshold quantum secret sharing schemes are especially complex, so much so that, to date, no one has been able to successfully construct one. In light of this, this study uses the Chinese Remainder Theorem and performs the phase shift operation on a quantum state to build a weighted threshold secret sharing scheme. The proposed scheme allocates each participant in the scheme their own weight. The dealer then selects a key and encodes it on a secret of quantum state with the phase shift operation. One this is achieved, the dealer divides the key into partial keys, and sends them to the participants. When the sum of the weights of participants is greater than or equal to a fixed threshold, the participants can reconstruct the secret and obtain the quantum information. The proposed scheme is an efficient and flexible weighted threshold quantum secret sharing and is simpler and easier to implement than earlier ones.
