Abstract

By studying the interaction of isolated two-level atom with two-mode entangled coherent state optical field, the time evolution of dipole squeezing quantum effect in the system is investigated in detail. The results show that the properties of interaction coherent mode determine the degree of atom dipole squeezing. Parameter ΔV of violation of Cauchy-Schwarz inequality of the interaction system is defined. Time evolution of parameter ΔVis studied, and it can be seen evidently from the results that the degree of violation of Cauchy-Schwarz inequality accords with the nonclassical property of interaction system. Through tuning the parameter of the coherent field, we can easily perform the remote control of the noncommercial properties.

In this article, the atomic dipole squeezing effects in the system of three identical two-level entangled atoms interacting with the coherent states field are investigated by mean of Schrdinger equation solution and numerical calculations. The results show that the time evolution of the atomic dipole squeezing parameters depends on the degree of entanglement of the entangled atoms and the intensity of the coherent field. The atomic dipole squeezing parameter decreases with the increasing of the degree of entanglement.

Remote Control of the Nonclassical Properties of Two-mode Anti-correlated Light Fields

Zheng Nai-qing

We consider the case that one of the two initially entangled V-type three-level atoms is injected into a two-mode cavity and resonantly interacting with a two-mode field initially in a SU(2) coherent state.Nonclassical properties of the two-mode correlated field are investigated numerically. The influences of the state-selective measurement of the atom outside the cavity, the total photon number of the two modes, and the partition parameter on the difference squeezing, the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality, the mode-correlation properties, and the photon number distribution are discussed. The results indicate when the state-selective measurement is performed on the atom outside the cavity or the total photon number is increased, the difference squeezing and the sub-Poisson distribution of the photon number of mode a is distinctly enhanced, but the anti-correlation between the two modes is distinctly reduced.

Light squeezing in the system of coherent state interacting with two identical two-level atoms

Zhuo‐Liang Cao

The squeezing properties in the system of the coherent optical field interacting with two identical two-level atoms are studied via time evolution operator and numerical method . The results indicate that the squeezing of optical field depends on the degree of entanglement of two identical atoms. At certain particular time, for some special numbers of photons, optical field can be squeezed entirely in any entangled state of two atoms. In some cases, the optical fields can not be squeezed.

Nonclassical properties in the resonant interaction of a three level Λ-type atom with pair coherent states

Zi-hong Chen, Chang-Geng Liao, Luo Cheng-Li

This paper is concentrated on the nonclassical properties of the pair coherent states during the interaction with a three-level Λ-type atom, such as antibunching effect, violation of Cauchy-Schwarz inequality and two-mode squeezing. Meanwhile, we find these nonclassical properties can be enhanced in the case that the atom is selectively measured.

Atomic dipole squeezing effects in the system of the two-mode entangled coherent states interacting with a V-type three-level atom in Kerr medium has been discussed. The results indicate that the atomic dipole squeezing effects depend on the degree of entanglement of the two-mode entangled coherent states, the coupling strength of the Kerr medium with the field, the detuning and the atomic initial state.
