Abstract

Symmetry in spectrum space of isotonic oscillators is studied, and a distinct fi gure is given by appropriate parametric substitution. An analytic expression of normalized eigenfunction is obtained. It is proven that linear oscillator is a degeneration of isotonic oscillator. It is revealed that an isotonic oscillator is a two_photon parametric model. Coherent state of that model is given, and that coherent state includes odd_coherent state and even_coherent state constru cted by Glauber coherent states in a natural way.

Coherent states associated with the wavefunctions and the spectrum of the isotonic oscillator

Kengatharam Thirulogasanthar, Nasser Saad

Classes of coherent states are presented by replacing the labelling parameter z of Klauder–Perelomov type coherent states by confluent hypergeometric functions with specific parameters. Temporally stable coherent states for the isotonic oscillator Hamiltonian are presented and these states are identified as a particular case of the so-called Mittag–Leffler coherent states.

Nonclassical properties of even and odd generalized coherent states for an isotonic oscillator

Ji‐Suo Wang, Tang-Kun Liu, Mingsheng Zhan

We used the numerical method to study nonclassical properties of the even and odd generalized coherent states and superposition states of generalized coherent states for an isotonic oscillator. The following was shown. (1) The quantum statistical properties of the even and odd generalized coherent states are very different from those of the usual even and odd coherent states, and the N th-order ( N = 2 m + 1, m = 0,1,2,...) squeezing and sub-Poisson distribution appear alternately for both the even and odd generalized coherent states in some ranges of z = |β| 2 . The weaker the isotonic oscillator potential, the narrower the ranges. (2) The superposition states of generalized coherent states may exhibit the N th-order squeezing effect too, and this kind of higher-order squeezing effect appears periodically.

Barut–Girardello coherent states for the isotonic oscillator

Messan Médard Akouetegan, Isiaka Aremua, Mahouton Norbert Hounkonnou

In this work, we study the physical and mathematical characteristics of Barut–Giradello coherent states for the isotonic oscillator. Some relevant optical and statistical properties are analyzed and discussed. Furthermore, the thermodynamic and temporal stabilities are obtained, respectively, from [Formula: see text]-representation of the density operator, and probability density approaches. In addition, a comparative analysis of non-classical behaviors is made between these states and those of the Gazeau–Klauder type constructed for this quantum system.

Spectral collapse in the two-photon quantum Rabi model

Román J. Armenta‐Rico, F. H. Maldonado-Villamizar, B. M. Rodríguez-Lara

Spectral collapse, the transition from a discrete to a continuous spectrum, is a characteristic in quantum Rabi models. We explore this phenomenon in the two-photon quantum Rabi model using optical phase space, and we find that, in the so-called degenerate qubit regime, the collapse is similar to the transition from a harmonic to an inverted oscillator with the free-particle potential as a critical transition point. In the degenerate qubit regime, we construct Dirac-normalizable eigenfunctions with well-defined parity for the model. In the general model, we use parity to diagonalize the system in the qubit basis and numerically find that the qubit frequency does not change the critical point where spectral collapse occurs. We numerically confirm the existence of an exceptional state at the critical coupling, and we argue its analytic provenance from both a Born-Oppenheimer and a variational approximation.

GLAUBER COHERENT STATE q-DEFORMED QUANTUM OSCILLATOR

Hao San-Ru, 长沙水利电力师范学院物理系,长沙410077

By making use of the Fock States of the q-deformed quantum oscillator which possesses the symmetry of quantum group, we construct the Glauber coherent state of the q-deformed quantum oscillator (the q-Glauber coherent state ㄧα>q). We discuss the of completeness properties, particle number distribution, oscillator strength distribution and the minimal uncertainty principle of the q-Glauber coherent states, and point out that the coherent degree of the q-Glauber coherent state can be described by the parameter q.

Bargmann transform and statistical properties for nonlinear coherent states of the isotonic oscillator

Ghayth Ouirdani, Othmane El Moize

Abstract We construct a new class of nonlinear coherent states for the isotonic oscillator by replacing the factorial of the coefficients z n / n ! ${z}^{n}/\sqrt{n!}$ of the canonical coherent states by the factorial x n γ ! = x 1 γ . x 2 γ … x n γ ${x}_{n}^{\gamma }!={x}_{1}^{\gamma }.{x}_{2}^{\gamma }\dots {x}_{n}^{\gamma }$ with x 0 γ = 0 ${x}_{0}^{\gamma }=0$ , where x n γ ${x}_{n}^{\gamma }$ is a sequence of positive numbers and γ is a positive real parameter. This also leads to the construction of a Bargmann-type integral transform which will allow us to find some integral transforms for orthogonal polynomials. The statistics of our coherent states will also be considered by the calculus of one called Mandel parameter. The squeezing phenomenon was also discussed.
