Abstract

In this paper, the quantum statistical properties of the superposition state,a| β〉+beiφ|mβeiδ〉,which involves two arbitrary coh erent states, are investigated. The results show that this kind of super-positio n states generally exhibits squeezing effect or anti-bunching effect. The quantu m effects of the superposed state depend on β2 and the amplitude coe fficient m, as well as the changes of the phase difference between two coherent states δ, and the phase difference between two superposition coefficients φ al so plays an important role in squeezing or anti-bunching effects.

The quantum statistical properties of a class of superposed q-deformed generalized coherent states

In this paper, the quantum statistical properties of a class of superposed q-deformed generalized coherent states |ψ>=a|β>+beiφ|βeiδ> are studied. The results show that the superposition of q-deformed coherent generalized states generally exhibits squeezing and anti-bunching effects. The change of the phase difference between two generalized coherent states, the phase difference between two superposition coefficients, and both the amplitude and phase of the inner product of two generalized coherent states play important roles in squeezing effect and anti-bunching effect.

Phase Probability Distribution and Wigner Function of the Superposition of Two Arbitrary Coherent States

张爱萍 ZHANG Ai-ping, 史毅敏 SHI Yi-min, 魏诺 WEI Nuo

The quantum statistical properties of the superposition state, which involve two arbitrary coherent states |β〉 and |mβeiδ〉, are investigated from two aspects, such as the phase distribution and Winger function. The results show that the non-classical properties of the superposition state depend on β2, amplitude coefficient m, the phase difference between the coherent states δ, and the phase difference between the superposition coefficients . When selected suitable parameters the superposition state exhibits quantum effect. The phase distribution and Wigner function of an equally populated mixture of two coherent states are derived, too. By comparison the results show that the presence of the coherence terms makes the superposition state with full quantum-mechanical behavior.

The Quantum Properties of Coherent States Superposed with Squeezed States

Song Tong-Qiang

Based on the quantum superposition principle,we construct a new type of superposition composed of coherent state and squeezed state |φ=N(|α+eiφ|βg);and study its squeezing effect and photon anti-bunching effect. The results show that this kind of superposition exhibits fluent quantum properties. When superposed as even/odd coherent states, the superposition exhibits some properties of both even/odd coherent states and squeezed even/odd coherent states. The even/odd coherent and coherent state can be obtained as a special case when the squeezed factor r is zero.

The entropic squeezing of superposition of two arbitrary coherent states

LU Dao-ming

In this paper the superpositions of two arbitrary coherent states |Ψ〉 = a |β〉 + b e iϕ |mβe iδ 〉 are constructed by using the superposition principle of quantum mechanics. The entropic squeezing effects of the quantum states are studied. The numerical results indicate that the amplitudes, the ratio between the amplitudes of two coherent states, the phase difference between the two components and the relative phase of the two coefficients play important roles in the squeezing effects of the position entropy and momentum entropy.

In this paper, the squeezing effect and quantum statistical properties of one new coherent(superposition) state were investigated. The results showed that the coherent superposition state brings squeezing effect, bunching effect and super-poisson distribution. The effects of the coherent superposition state depend on the changes of squeezing coefficient and coherent coefficient,as well as that of coherent state phase and squeezing phase.

Yongxin Zhan

In the paper,a new kind of even and odd nonlinear coherent states is constructed in the Fock space. Using numerical method, their quantum statistical properties such as amplitude-squeezing and anti-bunching are investigated. The results show that in the range of |α|,amplitude-squeezing effect and anti-bunching effect appear in the direction X2 in the new kind of even and odd coherent states.
