Abstract

The higher power squeezing effects of photon field for odd and even q coherent states have been studied. We find that the squeezing effects are influenced by the values of parameter q, and the odd and even q-deformed coherent states can exhibit odd power squeezing effect but no even power squeezing effect when parameter q is taken values departure from 1 greatly, and these squeezing characteristics are different from those of the conventional odd and even coherent states.

Higher power squeezing properties of a class of the superposition of the q-deformed generalized coherent states

Shutian Liu

We proposed a class of the superposition state α|β+beiφ|βeiδ based on the q-deformed generalized coherent states. The higher power squeezing properties of these superposition states are studied. The results show that the power of the squeezing can be expressed as k≠2πn/δ,with n an integer and δ the phase difference between the two generalized coherent states. When δ=π,the power of squeezing can only be odd, when δ takes other values, the squeezing power can be even. These results show that the parameter phase difference δ plays an important role in determining the possible squeezing power, the role of a(b) and β can not be neglected.

Zhao-Xian Yu, Ji‐Suo Wang, Liu Yehou +1 more

Theoretical calculations show that the generalized odd and even coherent states(OECS) of a non harmonic oscillator represent higher power (odd number power) squeezing effect and antibunching effect respectively, and these photon statistical characteristics are very different from those of the ordinary OECS.

Higher-order Squeezing Effect and Higher-order Antibunching Effect of the Superposed States of SU(2)′s Odd and Even q-coherent States

Hui Zhang

Based on a previous paper〔1〕,the higherorder expectation values in the superposed states of SU(2)′s odd and even qcoherent states are calculated in detail, and the nonclassical properties are studied by calculating and ploting. It is found that twoorder squeezing effect always exists in spite of the value of q and higherorder antibunching effects have plentiful structures due to the deformation parameter′s influence.

In this paper, we use the numerical method to study the influences of and deformations on the quantum statistical properties of even and odd qs-coherent states. It is shown that nonclassical properties of the even and odd qs-coherent states are very different from those of the usual even and odd coherent states. It is found that squeezing and antibunching effect appear for both even and odd qs-coherent states in some range of the parameters , and . The smaller the and are, the larger the difference between the even and odd qs-coherent states and the usual even and odd coherent states is.

ENTROPIC SQUEEZING PROPERTIES OF EVEN AND ODD COHERENT STATES

Yongping Li, Yun‐Jie Xia

The position and momentum entropic squeezing of even and odd coherent states are studied. The relations between the two entropic squeezings and the two quadrature components squeezing are also discussed. The results show that even and odd coherent state exhibits both position and momentum entropic squeezing, which is different from the standard deviations squeezing.
