Abstract

The thermodynamics of the one-dimensional Hubbard model is reduced to a system of algebraic equations through an extension of our thermal Bethe ansatz. This new formalism is free from the string conjecture, or more basically from the unproven assumption of the completeness of the Bethe states.

Bound States in the One-dimensional Hubbard Model

Daniel Braak, Natan Andrei

The Bethe Ansatz equations for the one-dimensional Hubbard model are reexamined. A new procedure is introduced to properly include bound states. The corrected equations lead to new elementary excitations away from half-filling.

Algebraic Bethe ansatz approach for the one-dimensional Hubbard model

We formulate in terms of the quantum inverse scattering method the algebraic Bethe ansatz solution of the one-dimensional Hubbard model. The method developed is based on a new set of commutation relations which encodes a hidden symmetry of six-vertex type.
