Abstract

A quantum message signature scheme based on quantum teleportation is presented. In this scheme, Alice prepares N-pair particles m and m' in the same states which carry the quantum information while Bob generates N-pair particles a and b in EPR states, to each triplet composed of particles ai,bi and mi, Alice performs Bell-state measurement on mi and ai, to get signature, Bob compares the state of m'i and bi can verify the signature. This scheme does not rely on an arbitrator to verify the signature; however it has unconditional security and provides a higher efficiency in transmission.

In an arbitrated quantum signature scheme, the signatory signs the message and the receiver verifies the signature's validity with the assistance of the arbitrator. We present an arbitrated quantum signature scheme using two-particle entangled Bell states similar to the previous scheme using three-particle entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states [G. H. Zeng and C. H. Keitel, Phys. Rev. A 65, 042312 (2002)]. The proposed scheme can preserve the merits in the original scheme while providing a higher efficiency in transmission and reducing the complexity of implementation.

An arbitrated quantum signature scheme based on entanglement swapping with signer anonymity

Wei Li, Mingyu Fan, Guangwei Wang

In this paper an arbitrated quantum signature scheme based on entanglement swapping is proposed. In this scheme a message to be signed is coded with unitary operators. Combining quantum measurement with quantum encryption, the signer can generate the signature for a given message. Combining the entangled states generated by the TTP's Bell measurement with the signature information, the verifier can verify the authentication of a signature through a single quantum state measurement. Compared with previous schemes, our scheme is more efficient and less complex, furthermore, our scheme can ensure the anonymity of the signer.

Arbitrated quantum signature schemes without using entangled states

Xiangfu Zou, Daowen Qiu

A digital signature is a mathematical scheme for demonstrating the authenticity of a digital message or document. For signing quantum messages, some arbitrated quantum signature schemes have being proposed. However, in the existing literature, arbitrated quantum signature schemes depend on entanglement. In this paper, we present two arbitrated quantum signature schemes without utilizing entangled states in the signing phase and the verifying phase. The first proposed scheme can preserve the merits in the existing schemes. Then, we point out, in this scheme and the prior schemes, there exists a problem that Bob can repudiate the integrality of the signatures. To conquer this problem, we construct another arbitrated quantum signature scheme without using quantum entangled states but using a public board. The new scheme has three advantages: it does not utilize entangled states while it can preserve all merits in the existing schemes; the integrality of the signature can avoid being disavowed by the receiver; and, it provides a higher efficiency in transmission and reduces the complexity of implementation. Furthermore, we present a technique such that the quantum message can keep secret to the arbitrator in a arbitrated quantum signature scheme.

Arbitrated quantum signature scheme based on entanglement swapping

Wei Li, Fan Ming-Yu, Guangwei Wang

An arbitrated quantum signature scheme based on entanglement swapping is proposed in this paper. On the foundation of Bell states, the message to be signed is coded with a unitary sequence, and consequently the unitary sequence is used to calibrate the Bell states between the signer and the arbitrator, finally the signature is generated through quantum cryptography. Using the correlation states generated through entanglement swapping on the arbitrators side, the receiver can verify the signature through Bell measurement on his own side. In this scheme, anyone except the authentic signer cannot forge a legal signature and the true receiver cannot deny his recipient because the security of underling quantum cryptography and the participantsprivacy are effectively protected in this scheme.

Quantum dual signature scheme based on coherent states with entanglement swapping

Jia-Li Liu, Ronghua Shi, Jinjing Shi +2 more

A novel quantum dual signature scheme, which combines two signed messages expected to be sent to two diverse receivers Bob and Charlie, is designed by applying entanglement swapping with coherent states. The signatory Alice signs two different messages with unitary operations (corresponding to the secret keys) and applies entanglement swapping to generate a quantum dual signature. The dual signature is firstly sent to the verifier Bob who extracts and verifies the signature of one message and transmits the rest of the dual signature to the verifier Charlie who verifies the signature of the other message. The transmission of the dual signature is realized with quantum teleportation of coherent states. The analysis shows that the security of secret keys and the security criteria of the signature protocol can be greatly guaranteed. An extensional multi-party quantum dual signature scheme which considers the case with more than three participants is also proposed in this paper and this scheme can remain secure. The proposed schemes are completely suited for the quantum communication network including multiple participants and can be applied to the e-commerce system which requires a secure payment among the customer, business and bank.

New Arbitrated Quantum Signature Scheme without Entangled state

GuanXiong Jiang, Jun Zhang

Arbitrated quantum signature (AQS) schemes use quantum cryptography to ensure their security, and the schemes provide that the signature receiver verifies the signature with the arbitrator's assistance.Very recently, Gao and Choi found in some previous AQS schemes, the receiver, Bob can counterfeit the signer's signature under known message.Additionally, the paper gives the security analysis of the AQS scheme, and results show that not only the receiver, but also the attacker can forge the signature in the AQS scheme.Furthermore, the signer can successfully disavow any message she ever signed. To conquer these shortcomings, this paper gives a new AQS scheme without quantum entangled state; it uses special quantum logic gate and new quantum one-time pads to ensure its security.Compares with other previous AQS schemes, the new scheme has following advantages: (1) the new scheme guarantees the receiver and the attacker cannot forge the signature; (2) Because the new scheme does not use quantum entangled states, so it can reduce the complexity of implementation and provides a higher efficiency in transmission; (3) The receiver, Bob has verified the signature's integrity, so Alice cannot disavow her having signed message.
