GENERALIZED COHERENT STATES APPROACH TO DEFORMATION QUANTIZATION

Abstract

Generalized (f)-coherent state approach in deformation quantization framework is investigated by using a *-eigenvalue equation. For this purpose we introduce a new Moyal star product called f-star product, so that by using this *f-eigenvalue equation one can obtain exactly the spectrum of a general Hamiltonian of a deformed system. Eventually the method is supported with some examples.

R. Roknizadeh, Sayed Ali Akbar Ghorashi, Hoshang Heydari

Generalized $f$-coherent state approach in deformation quantization framework is investigated by using a $\ast $-eigenvalue equation. For this purpose we introduce a new Moyal star product called $f$-star product, so that by using this ${\ast}_{f}$-eigenvalue equation one can obtain exactly the spectrum of a general Hamiltonian of a deformed system.

J. D. Bukweli-Kyemba, Mahouton Norbert Hounkonnou

A unified method of calculating structure functions from commutation relations of deformed single-mode oscillator algebras is presented. A natural approach to building coherent states associated to deformed algebras is then deduced.

Minimal length scale in quantum mechanics from a deformation quantization perspective

Ziemowit Domański

Abstract We develop a deformation quantization approach to quantum mechanics that exhibits a nonzero minimal uncertainty in position through the modification of commutation relations for the operators of position and momentum. Deformation quantization is a method of quantizing a classical Hamiltonian system by suitably deforming the Poisson algebra of the system. The developed theory of deformation quantization is non-formal. An appropriate integral formula for the star-product is introduced, along with a suitable space of functions on which the star-product is well defined. A C*-algebra of observables and a space of states are constructed. Moreover, an operator representation in momentum space is presented. Finally, an example of states of maximal localization is given in terms of generalized Wigner functions.

Star Products and Deformed Oscillators

Demosthenes Ellinas

A star-product formalism describing deformations of the standard quantum mechanical harmonic oscillator is introduced. A number of existing generalized oscillators occur as particular choices of star-products between the elements of the ordinary oscillator algebra. Star dynamics and coherent states are introduced and discussed.

Coherent representation of fields and deformation quantization

Jasel Berra–Montiel, Alberto Molgado

Motivated by some well-known results in the phase space description of quantum optics and quantum information theory, we aim to describe the formalism of quantum field theory by explicitly considering the holomorphic representation for a scalar field within the deformation quantization program. Notably, the symbol of a symmetric ordered operator in terms of holomorphic variables may be straightforwardly obtained by the quantum field analogue of the Husimi distribution associated with a normal ordered operator. This relation also allows to establish a [Formula: see text]-equivalence between the Moyal and the normal star-products. In addition, by writing the density operator in terms of coherent states we are able to directly introduce a series representation of the Wigner functional distribution, which may be convenient in order to calculate probability distributions of quantum field observables without performing formal phase space integrals at all.

The Moyal bracket in the coherent states framework

Mohammed Daoud A, El Hassan El Kinani

The star product and Moyal bracket are introduced using the coherent states corresponding to quantum systems with non-linear spectra. Two kinds of coherent state are considered. The first kind is the set of Gazeau-Klauder coherent states and the second kind are constructed following the Perelomov-Klauder approach. The particular case of the harmonic oscillator is also discussed.
