Abstract

We present N3-state R-matrix related with Uq(sl(3)) algebra at q2N=1. Its matrix elements are interpreted as Boltzmann weights of an elementary box of some 2d lattice statistical model and given in terms of [Formula: see text] weights of the "minimal" sl(3) chiral Potts model.

Nn(n–1)/2-STATE INTERTWINER RELATED TO U q( sl (n)) ALGEBRA AT q2N=1

Rinat Kashaev, Vladimir V. Mangazeev

The Nn(n–1)/2-state R-matrix related to U q( sl (n)) algebra at q2N=1 is presented. Its matrix elements are interpreted as Boltzmann weights of an elementary box of some 2D lattice statistical model and given in terms of [Formula: see text] weights of the "minimal" sl (n) chiral Potts model. The corresponding family of transfer matrices depends on n rapidity variables living on high genus algebraic curves, the latter being defined by n moduli. The Yang-Baxter equation is conjectured to hold.

On different approaches to IRF lattice models. Part II

Alexander A. Belavin, Doron Gepner, J. Ramos Cabezas +1 more

A bstract This paper represents a continuation of our previous work, where the Boltzmann weights (BWs) for several Interaction-Round-the Face (IRF) lattice models were computed using their relation to rational conformal field theories. Here, we focus on deriving solutions for the Boltzmann weights of the Interaction-Round the Face lattice model, specifically, the unrestricted face model, based on the $$ \mathfrak{su}{(3)}_k $$ su 3 k affine Lie algebra. The admissibility conditions are defined by the adjoint representation. We find the BWs by determining the quantum R matrix of the $$ {U}_q\left(\mathfrak{sl}(3)\right) $$ U q sl 3 quantum algebra in the adjoint representation and then applying the so-called Vertex-IRF correspondence. The Vertex-IRF correspondence defines the BWs of IRF models in terms of R matrix elements.

EXCHANGE ALGEBRA AND EXOTIC SUPERSYMMETRY IN THE CHIRAL POTTS MODEL

Denis Bernard, Vincent Pasquier

We obtain an exchange algebra for the Chiral Potts model, the elements of which are linear in the parameters defining the rapidity curve. This enables us to connect the Chiral Potts model to a Uq(GL(2)) algebra. On the other hand, looking at the model from the S-matrix point of view relates it to a ZZ N generalisation of the supersymmetric algebra.

CYCLIC EIGHT-STATE R-MATRIX RELATED TO Uq( sl (3)) ALGEBRA AT q2 = -1

Rinat Kashaev, Vladimir V. Mangazeev, Yu. G. Stroganov

Using an eight-state cyclic L-operator related to the Uq( sl (3)) algebra at q2 = -1 we have found an interwining eight-state R-matrix in the "trigonometric" limit. Corresponding commuting family of transfer matrices depends on three independent spectral parameters.

Construction of R -matrices for symmetric tensor representations related to U q ( sl n ˆ )

Gary Bosnjak, Vladimir V. Mangazeev

Abstract In this paper we construct a new factorized representation of the R -matrix related to the affine algebra U q ( sl n ^ ) for symmetric tensor representations with arbitrary weights. Using the 3D approach we obtain explicit formulas for the matrix elements of the R -matrix and give a simple proof that a ‘twisted’ R -matrix is stochastic. We also discuss symmetries of the R -matrix, its degenerations and compare our formulas with other results available in the literature.

GENERALIZED YANG-BAXTER EQUATION

Rinat Kashaev, Yu. G. Stroganov

A generalization of the Yang-Baxter equation is proposed. It enables us to construct integrable two-dimensional lattice models with commuting two-layer transfer matrices, while single-layer ones are not necessarily commutative. Explicit solutions to the generalized equations are found. They are related with Boltzmann weights of the sl (3) chiral Potts models.
