ENTANGLEMENT DYNAMICS OF TWO TWO-MODE TWO-PHOTON JAYNES–CUMMINGS MODELS IN THE PRESENCE OF PHASE DECOHERENCE

Abstract

We investigate the entanglement of two two-mode two-photon Jaynes–Cummings models in the presence of phase decoherence. We find an explicit analytical solution of the system and discuss the influence of the phase decoherenc on the entanglement dynamics. Our results shows that the entanglement of the two initially entangled atoms can remain zero for a finite time and revive later. However, if the phase decoherence is taken into accounted, the entanglement cannot revive completely.

LONG-LIVED ENTANGLEMENT OF THREE-ATOM IN AN OPTICAL CAVITY WITH PHASE DECOHERENCE

Jian-Song Zhang, Aixi Chen

We investigate the entanglement dynamics in a quantum system consisting of three two-level atoms resonantly coupled to a single mode cavity in the presence of phase decoherence. With the help of the dynamical algebraic method, we obtain an analytical solution of the present system. The influence of phase decoherence on the entanglement of the system is studied. We find that the entanglement between the cavity field and any atom will be destroyed completely by phase decoherence as the system evolves. However, there is long-lived entanglement (or stationary state entanglement) of arbitrary two atoms, that is, the entanglement of atoms is more robust against phase decoherence than that of the atom-field system.

Atom-field entanglement in two-atom Jaynes-Cummings model with intensity-dependent coupling

Eugene K. Bashkirov

An exact solution of the problem of two-atom one- and two-mode Jaynes-Cummings model with intensity-dependent coupling is presented. Asymptotic solutions for system state vectors are obtained in the approximation of large initial coherent fields. The atom-field entanglement is investigated on the basis of the reduced atomic entropy dynamics. The possibility of the system being initially in a pure disentangled state to revive into this state during the evolution process for both models is shown. Conditions and times of disentanglement are derived.

ENTANGLEMENT FOR JAYNES CUMMINGS MODEL IN THE PRESENCE MULTI-PHOTON PROCESS UNDER DECOHERENCE EFFECT

S. Abdel‐Khalek, Mohammed Almalki

The quantum nonlocal correlation between an atom and coherent field is described quantitatively in terms of multi-photon and phase damping processes. Especially, considering a two-level atom interacts with a single-mode quantized field in a coherent state inside a phase-damped cavity, and taking into account the number of multi-photon transitions and phase damping effect, the entanglement is investigated during the time evolution as a function of involved' parameters in the system. The results show that the enhancement of the transitions are very useful in generating a high amount of entanglement. Due to the significance of how a system is quantum correlated with its environment in the construction of a scalable quantum computer, the entanglement dynamics between the bipartite system with its environment is evaluated and investigated during the dissipative process. Finally, the physical interpretation of the correlation behaviors between the subsystems is explained through the statistical properties of the field.

ENTANGLEMENT DYNAMICS IN THE THREE-ATOM TAVIS-CUMMINGS MODEL

Jian-Song Zhang, Aixi Chen

We investigate the entanglement dynamics in a quantum system consisting of three two-level atoms resonantly coupled to a single mode electromagnetic field in a cavity. An explicit analytical solution of the system is obtained and the entanglement of the system is studied with the help of the concurrence and tangle. It is also shown that the W states could be generated if the interaction time of the two-level atoms and the cavity field is chosen appropriately.

Thermal entanglement in a double Jaynes-Cummings model

Eugene K. Bashkirov

In this paper, we have investigated the entanglement dynamics between two initially entangled qubits interacting with two independent thermal cavities modes in the framework of resonant double Jaynes-Cummings model. We obtain the exact solution for the model under consideration and derive the time dependence of the atom-atom negativity. Results reveal that for entangled atoms the initial atomic quantum correlations can partially restore its original values for a finite interval of time, even for relatively high cavity temperatures.
