Reply to Comment on ‘Generation of cluster-type entangled coherent states’

Abstract

We respond to the criticism of our paper 'Generation of cluster-type entangled coherent states'. In the original paper, we remove the explicit time dependence from the interaction Hamiltonian by transforming to a rotating frame for the field operators, which is also done to quantum dots embedded in a microcavity (Djuric and Search 2007 Phys. Rev. B 75 155307). We thank Wei Haihong and Wang Faqiang for pointing out that cluster-type entangled coherent states (CTECS) cannot be obtained with the original time-dependent Hamiltonian under certain parameter condition ? |?|. For the original field operators, we present a new method to generate CTECS in the same system.

Comment on ‘Generation of cluster-type entangled coherent states’

Haihong Wei, Faqiang Wang

We rectify some errors in the scheme of generating cluster-type entangled coherent states (CTECS) proposed by Tang (2009 J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. 42 085502) in this comment. Furthermore, we find that no system can successfully generate CTECS by Tang's method.

Generation of cluster-type entangled coherent states

Li Tang

We propose a method of generating cluster-type entangled coherent states (CTECS) using several single-mode cavities and an electron trapped in a moving quantum dot, assisted with a sequence of π/2 pulses on the electron. After the realization of simple electronic measurement, a series of CTECS representing nonlocal electromagnetic fields of cavities have been generated. Furthermore, we investigate the nonlocal properties of the generated CTECS based on the GHZ–Mermin argument.

Reply to Comment on ``Time-dependent quasi-Hermitian Hamiltonians and the unitary quantum evolution''

Miloslav Znojil

In his fresh "Comment" (arXiv:0711.0137v1), A. Mostafazadeh reacts on my very recent letter (arXiv:0710.5653v1) where I tried to clarify certain misunderstandings which occurred in A. M., Phys. Lett. B \textbf{650}, 208 (2007) [arXiv:0706.1872v2, "Paper"]. As long as the "Comment" offers a new support of the original assertions made in the "Paper", I feel obliged to re-clarify the matter by extending my argumentation. I insist that it is possible to escape the main conclusion of the "Paper", indeed. In particular, I point out a gap in the new calculations in "Comment", add a few remarks on the notation and reconfirm that the unitarity of the time-evolution DOES NOT require the time-independence of the metric operator.

We show that, contrary to the claims of the preceding Comment [Br\'adler and J\'auregui, Phys. Rev. A 85, 016301 (2012)], our original work [Phys. Rev. A 83, 062323 (2011)] is devoid of flaws or mistakes. We show that the criticism comes from a misunderstanding of part of our work.

Reply to “Comment on ‘Coherent-state path integrals in the continuum’”

In this Reply we briefly clarify the main points of our method to construct coherent-state path integrals in the continuum and we reply to the critique raised by in the preceding Comment by Kochetov [Phys. Rev. A 99, 026101 (2019)]. By using definite examples, we prove that our approach is capable of resolving the inconsistencies accompanying the standard coherent-state path-integral representation of interacting systems.

I reply to the Comment [A. Mostafazadeh, Phys. Rev. A 55, 4640 (1997)] on my paper in Phys. Rev. A 53, 2053 (1996). In particular, there is nothing in the Comment except the final paragraph, which points out my two sick sentences in English. I give a simple example to explain my original meaning of the two sick English sentences and try to correct them.
