Abstract

In general, a weak blind signature has the characteristics of no-counterfeiting, no-disavowing, blindness and traceability. In this paper, a weak blind signature scheme based on the correlation of Einstein-Padolsky-Rosen (EPR) pairs (Xiaojun et al., 2009) is revisited, and it will be shown that the scheme in its original form does not complete the task of a blind signature fairly.   Key words: Quantum cryptography, blind signature, weak blind signature.

A Weak Blind Signature Based on Quantum Key Distribution

Siavash Khodambashi, Ali Zakerolhosseini

Recently, the laws of quantum physics have amazed classical cryptography and aided researchers to provide secure communications in presence of adversaries. In this paper we present a novel weak blind signature scheme whose security is guaranteed by fundamental principles of quantum physics. Despite previous schemes which are taking advantage of quantum entangled states, our proposed quantum blind signature relies only on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocol. We show throughout this paper that our proposed quantum weak blind signature achieves a good position in security and reliability. In addition, it is feasible for the proposed scheme to become commercialized with current technology. Hence, it can be widely used for e-payment, e-government, e-business and etc.

Weak blind quantum signature protocol based on entanglement swapping

Minghui Zhang, Huifang Li

In this paper, we put forward a weak blind quantum signature scheme based on quantum entanglement swapping of Bell states. Different from the existing quantum signature schemes, our scheme can offer two-step verification security services to ensure the validity of the verification. In order to guarantee the unconditional security of the scheme, the quantum key distribution protocol and one-time pad encryption algorithm are employed in our scheme. Besides, the entanglement swapping of Bell states mechanism enhances the security of verification criteria. The proposed scheme has the properties of nonforgeability, nonrepudiation, blindness, and traceability.

A broadcasting multiple blind signature scheme based on quantum GHZ entanglement

Yuan Tian, Hong Chen, Yan Gao +6 more

Using the correlation of the GHZ triplet states, a broadcasting multiple blind signature scheme is proposed. Different from classical multiple signature and current quantum signature schemes, which could only deliver either multiple signature or unconditional security, our scheme guarantees both by adopting quantum key preparation, quantum encryption algorithm and quantum entanglement. Our proposed scheme has the properties of multiple signature, blindness, non-disavowal, non-forgery and traceability. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first to propose the broadcasting multiple blind signature of quantum cryptography.

Re-examining the security of blind quantum signature protocols

Ming‐Ming Wang, Xiu‐Bo Chen, Xinxin Niu +1 more

Recently, blind quantum signature (BQS) protocols have been proposed with the help of a third-party verifier. However, our research shows that some of the BQS protocols are unable to complete the blind signature task fairly if the verifier is dishonest. Indeed, these protocols can be viewed as variants of the classical digital signature scheme of symmetric-key cryptography. If nobody is trusted in such protocols, digital signature cannot be implemented since disagreements cannot be solved fairly.

Fair quantum blind signatures

Tian‐Yin Wang, Wen Qiao-yan

We present a new fair blind signature scheme based on the fundamental properties of quantum mechanics. In addition, we analyse the security of this scheme, and show that it is not possible to forge valid blind signatures. Moreover, comparisons between this scheme and public key blind signature schemes are also discussed.
