Abstract

The properties of the entanglement in the intensity-dependent coupling interaction between squeezing vacuum state field and atom with an additional Kerr medium are investigated by using the von Neumann entropy. The influences of nonlinear interaction intensity of Kerr medium and the squeezing degree of initial squeezing vacuum state field on the entanglement of the quantum system are discussed. The results show that the nonlinear interaction of Kerr medium can result in the generation of the maximally entangled state, disentangled-free state or disentangled state, and the degree of entanglement is stationary.

The Entropy Squeezing Properties in the Nonlinear Interaction Between Squeezing Vacuum State Field and Atom

Xiang-Ping Liao

The field entropy squeezing properties in the nonlinear interaction between squeezing vacuum state field and atom are studied by means of quantum information entropy theory. The influences of nonlinear interaction intensity of Kerr medium and the squeezing degree of initial squeezing vacuum state field on the entropy squeezing properties are discussed. The results show that the field entropy can be squeezed periodically without Kerr medium, and the nonlinear interaction intensity of Kerr medium can change the periodicities of evolution of the field entropy squeezing, the field may exhibit long-time entropy squeezing effect when the squeezing degree of initial squeezing vacuum state field is big ((r=5).)

Quantum entanglement in the interaction between squeezing vacuum state field and moving two-level atom

Zeng Ming-sheng, Xie Fang-sen, Huiming Jiang

The properties of the entanglement between squeezing vacuum state field and moving two-level atom are investigated by using the von Neumann entropy. The influences of field-mode structure of moving two-level atom and the squeezing degree of initial squeezing vacuum state field on the entanglement of the quantum system are discussed. The results show that atomic movement can result in evolution periodically of the degree of entanglement. The quantum state will be maximally entangled state for a long time when the squeezing degree are high, the increase of field-mode structure result in more disentangled states.

In this paper, the atomic dipole squeezing in the non-resonance system of single-model squeezed vacuum field interacting with two coupling atoms via intensity-dependent coupling in Kerr medium are investigated.By using the numerical method, the relations between the atomic dipole squeezing and the coupling parameter of the system are discussed. The results show that the atomic dipole squeezing depend on the Kerr effect, the detuning, the dipole-dipole interaction between atoms, the initial squeezed parameter of the light and the atomic initial state.

Entanglement in a system of a three-level atom interacting with a single-mode field in the presence of arbitrary forms of the nonlinearity and of the atomic initial state

A.‐S. F. Obada, Sadek Ahmed Hanoura, A. A. Eied

The interaction of a three-level atom in the V -configuration with a single-mode field under the mechanism of a multi-photon transition is studied. Influences of different possible choices of the atomic initial state, the mean photon number, the nonlinearity of the Kerr-like medium and the detuning parameters within various forms of the intensity-dependent atom–field couplings on the von Neumann entropy are analyzed. Simple analytical expressions of the unitary time evolution and density operators in the context of the framework of the dressed states are derived. General conclusions reached are illustrated by numerical results.

Dynamics of Entropy and Nonclassicality Features of the Interaction between a ⋄-type Four-Level Atom and a Single-Mode Field in the Presence of Intensity-Dependent Coupling and Kerr Nonlinearity

Hamid Reza Baghshahi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly, Abbas Behjat

The interaction between a $\diamondsuit$-type four-level atom and a single-mode field in the presence of Kerr medium with intensity-dependent coupling involving multi-photon processes has been studied. Using the generalized (nonlinear) Jaynes-Cummings model, the exact analytical solution of the wave function for the considered system under particular condition, has been obtained when the atom is initially excited to the topmost level and the field is in a coherent state. Some physical properties of the atom-field entangled state such as linear entropy showing the entanglement degree, Mandel parameter, mean photon number and normal squeezing of the resultant state have been calculated. The effects of Kerr medium, detuning and the intensity-dependent coupling on the temporal behavior of the latter mentioned nonclassical properties have been investigated. It is shown that by appropriately choosing the evolved parameters in the interaction process, each of the above nonclassicality features, which are of special interest in quantum optics as well as quantum information processing, can be revealed.
