Abstract

Teleportation is a new and exciting field of future communication. Security in data communication is a major headache now a day. Among the encryption technologies that are available at present, shared key is the most reliable which depends on secure key generation and distribution. Teleportation/entanglement is a perfect solution in this regard as for the no cloning theorem of quantum mechanics any attempt to intercept the key by the eavesdropper will be detectable immediately. To use the quantum key distribution efficiently and effectively, rigorous study and research on teleportation/entanglement is needed. We have reviewed and presented teleportation concept, its process, road blocks, and successes that are achieved recently in a straightforward manner.

The Integration of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum teleportation: Foundations, Applications, and Future Perspectives

Haoting Dou

With the advent of quantum technology, the exploration of quantum teleportation has become increasingly important, and it has provided a glimpse of the potential of quantum information science. The current research delves into the background of quantum teleportation, emphasizing its key role in advancing quantum communication and computation. Implications of this research are that it has the potential to revolutionize data transmission and processing, providing a secure and efficient means of exchanging quantum information. This paper is structured to provide a comprehensive study of quantum teleportation, starting with a literature review that lays the foundation for our work. Afterward, the details of our research are presented, including the theoretical framework and the proposed methodology for realizing the quantum teleportation protocol. We provide a careful overview of the technical details, demonstrating the complexity of quantum state preparation, entanglement distribution, and Bell state measurements. Our empirical section demonstrates the practical application of these protocols, providing empirical evidence of successful teleportation of quantum states. The theoretical predictions are confirmed by the experimental results, which validate the feasibility and reliability of our approach. Conclusions drawn from the experiments emphasize the robustness of quantum teleportation as a viable technology for future quantum networks.

Entanglement Distribution in Quantum Communication Networks: A Comprehensive Review

Mr. M. Subbareddy G. Silpalatha

Entanglement distribution is a fundamental building block of quantum communication networks, enabling the secure and reliable exchange of quantum information over long distances. Unlike classical communication, quantum networks exploit the unique properties of quantum entanglement to support applications such as quantum key distribution, quantum teleportation, distributed quantum computing, and networked quantum sensing. Although significant progress has been made in recent years, the efficient generation, transmission, and preservation of entangled states remain major research challenges due to photon loss, decoherence, and limitations in current communication infrastructure. This review provides a comprehensive overview of entanglement distribution in quantum communication networks, focusing on the technologies that enable practical implementation and the latest experimental developments. It discusses key approaches for generating and distributing entangled photons through optical fibers, free-space links, and satellite-based communication, together with supporting technologies such as quantum repeaters, quantum memories, and photonic devices. The review also examines recent experimental demonstrations that have advanced long-distance quantum communication while highlighting the technical barriers that must be overcome for large-scale deployment. Finally, emerging applications and future research directions are presented, including the development of scalable quantum networks, the quantum internet, and secure global communication systems. This review aims to provide researchers and students with a clear understanding of the current state of entanglement distribution and its growing role in next-generation quantum communication technologies.

Quantum Communication: Concept, Applications, and Future Outlook

Tanya Rastogi, Vikas Hassija, Vikas Saxena

With the emergence of Quantum mechanics arrived the prospect of further development in technology. New areas of research and development came into the picture, one of them being Quantum communication. In 1991, the first protocol of Quantum cryptography and quantum non-duality attracted physicists, mathematicians, and computer scientists to explore the mysterious ways of the quantum world. Since then, quantum communication has evolved to an astonishing extent. Ultra-high-speed internet, computational power, optimization, and security have paved the way for innumerable possibilities ahead. This survey intends to investigate the concepts and applications of quantum communication. In this review article, we try to give an idea of quantum communication background by shedding light on polarization and entanglement, following which, we give a brief survey of its applications such as quantum teleportation, quantum key distribution, secure direct communication, and quantum memories. The study concludes with a discussion on the future outlook of this emerging paradigm.

A Review of Quantum Communication Technology Research

Xiaogang Du, Jigui Mao, Dexin Zhu

Quantum communication as a vital branch of quantum information science, leverages physical properties such as quantum superposition, entanglement, and the impossibility of cloning to pioneer entirely new technical pathways for achieving unconditional secure communication. This paper comprehensively and meticulously elucidates the core technological principles of quantum communication, including quantum key distribution, quantum teleportation, and quantum secure direct communication; It also delves into its application status in critical domains such as dedicated communications, finance, and government affairs. Furthermore, it analyzes the numerous technical challenges currently faced, including the stability of quantum bits, limitations on communication distance, and difficulties in standardization. Finally, it offers a prospective outlook on its future development trends. Research indicates that quantum communication technology is progressively transitioning from the laboratory to large-scale application stages, with its integration into existing communication systems and strategic value in national security domains becoming increasingly prominent.

A Review Of Quantum Communication With Photons: Principles, Protocols, And Progress

Ujwal Bhalgat, Swaraj Wetal, Ayush Shah +1 more

This paper presents a comprehensive review of quantum communication using photons, based primarily on the foundational work of Krenn, Malik, Scheidl, Ursin, and Zeilinger. The review covers core quantum mechanical principles such as qubits, superposition, entanglement, and the no-cloning theorem, and explains how these principles underpin secure quantum communication. Key protocols including Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and quantum teleportation are discussed. The paper further explores long-distance ground-based and space-based experiments, and examines the emerging role of high-dimensional quantum states using Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) of photons. The aim is to provide a structured understanding of the current state and future potential of quantum communication technologies.
