SOME NEW RELATIONS BETWEEN TARGET STATE AND QUANTUM TELEPORTED STATE GAINED BY VIRTUE OF THE |η> REPRESENTATION

Abstract

Based on the entangled state representation <η| in two-mode Fock space (Fan and Klauder, Phys. Rev.A49, 704 (1994)), we provide an alternative approach for analyzing quantum teleportation of continuous variables and go a step further by deriving some relations between input (target) states and teleported states. The natural representation of the two-mode squeezing operator in the |η> representation greatly simplifies our calculations.

Quantum teleportation via mixed two-mode squeezed states in the coherent-state representation

Jinhyoung Lee, M. S. Kim, S. Lee

Quantum teleportation for continuous variables is generally described in phase space by using the Wigner functions. We study quantum teleportation via a mixed two-mode squeezed state in Hilbert-Schmidt space by using the coherent-state representation and operators. This shows directly how the teleported state is related to the original state. PACS numbers: 03.67.-a, 89.70.+c

By virtue of the entangled state representation (Hong-Yi Fan and J R Klauder 1994 Phys. Rev. A 49 704) and the two-mode squeezing operator's natural representation (Hong-Yi Fan and Yue Fan 1996 Phys. Rev. A 54 958) we propose the squeeze-swapping mechanism which can generate quantum entanglement and new squeezed states of continuum variables.

Application of three-mode Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen entangled state with continuous variables to teleportation

Liyun Hu, Lu Hai-Liang

We consider how to teleport two- and three-mode Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen entangled states (|η⟩ and | p t , χ 2 , χ 3 ⟩) via a | p t ,χ 2 ,χ 3 ⟩ quantum channel for continuous variables. Using the complete and orthogonal representation of the entangled states, we can not only find the a complete basis set for the joint measurement but also propose the specific scheme of teleportation. Our calculation can be greatly simplified by using their Schmidt decompositions.
