Abstract

We consider two non interacting two-atoms Tavis-Cummings systems and examine the entanglement among four two-state atoms. For our purpose, we assume that one atom from each system are entangled initially and we obtain time-dependent concurrence among atoms. There are six pairwise concurrences among atoms and in this paper, we focus on remote atoms. We show that initially non-entangled atoms and becomes entangled by passing time, the process which may be interpreted as entanglement transfer between the cavities.

Pairwise Concurrence Dynamics in a Five Qubit Model

Seyed Arash Ghoreishi

In this paper, we study the entanglement in a five qubit model. For this purpose, we consider two non-interacting systems A and B which are correlated together initially. A is a t wo atoms Tavis-Cu mmings system and B is a Jaynes-Cummings System. By choosing a convenient initial condition which shows the initially correlation, our total system (A plus B) become a system which consist of five qubits. There are ten pairwise concurrences which we must calculate. We show that initially non-entangled qubits become entangled by passing time, the process which may be interpreted as entanglement transfer. We also show that our model in special cases become two-qubit and three-qubit models and analyze entanglement in these special cases.

Entanglement evolution of two remote and non-identical Jaynes–Cummings atoms

Stanley Chan, M. D. Reid, Z. Ficek

A detailed treatment of the entanglement dynamics of two distant but non-identical systems is presented. We study the entanglement evolution of two remote atoms interacting independently with a cavity field, as in the double Jaynes–Cummings model. The four-qubit pairwise concurrences are studied, allowing for asymmetric atom–cavity couplings and off-resonant interactions. Counter to intuition, imperfect matching can prove advantageous to entanglement creation and evolution. For two types of initial entanglement, corresponding to spin-correlated and anti-correlated Bell states Φ and Ψ, a full, periodic and directed transfer of entanglement into a specific qubit pair is possible, for resonant interactions, depending on the choice of relative couplings. Furthermore, entanglement transfer and sudden death (ESD) can be prevented using off-resonant interactions, although for some initial states, detunings will trigger an otherwise frozen entanglement, to allow a full entanglement transfer.

Dynamics of pairwise entanglement between two Tavis–Cummings atoms

Jin‐Liang Guo, He‐Shan Song

We investigate the time evolution of pairwise entanglement between two Tavis–Cummings atoms for various entangled initial states, including pure and mixed states. We find that the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death behaviors is distinct in the evolution of entanglement for different initial states. What deserves mentioning here is that the initial portion of the excited state in the initial state is responsible for the sudden death of entanglement, and the degree of this effect also depends on the initial states.

Entanglement evolution and transfer in a double Tavis-Cumming model in cavity QED

Qingjun Xu, Shiying Zhang

We have studied entanglement evolution and transfer in a double Tavis-Cumming model where two pairs of entangled two-level atoms AB and CD interact with two single-mode cavity fields a and b. We show that the Bell-like initial state of atoms AB can exhibit entanglement sudden death which should be independent of the initial entanglement of atoms CD. Also, we show that the initial entanglement of one atomic pair can be transferred into another pair, as well as the possible subsystems, that become entangled during evolution.

Quantum Entanglement Dynamics of Two Atoms in Quantum Light Sources

Rong‐Can Yang, Jie Li, Junmin Wang +1 more

Quantum entanglement dynamics of two Tavis—Cummings atoms interacting with the quantum light sources in a cavity is investigated. The results show the phenomenon that the concurrence disappears abruptly in a finite time, which depends on the initial atomic states and the properties of squeezed states. We find that there are two decoherence-free states in squeezed vacuum fields: one is the singlet state, and the other entangled state is the state that combines both excited states and ground states with a relative phase being equal to the phase of the squeezed state.

Atom-atom entanglement in a not-resonant two-photon Tavis-Cummings model

Maria O. Guslyannikova, Eugene K. Bashkirov

The entanglement between two two-level atoms (qubits) interacting not-resonantly with a one mode of thermal field in a lossless cavity via effective degenerate two-photon transitions is investigated. Based on the exact solution for the time-dependent density matrix of the system under consideration, negativity is calculated as a measure of the entanglement of atoms. The influence of a detuning on the dynamics of entanglement of atoms for separable and entangled initial atomic states and thermal cavity state is investigated.
