Abstract

The squeezing of the square of the field amplitude in the two-atom one-mode model with multiphoton transitions is investigated. The time-dependent squeezing factors are calculated. The conditions for the optimum squeezing are shown.

Eugene K. Bashkirov

Squeezing and amplitude-squared squeezing for two two-level nonidentical atoms in lossless cavity has been investigated assuming the field to be initially in the coherent state. Squeezing in multiphoton process of three-level atom

Tang-Kun Liu, Hong Li

Squeezing of one mode field interacting with a three-level cascade atom are studied by the Schrodinger equation, using the Jaynes-Cummings (J-C) model depending or not depending on the coupling of field strength. Deepest squeezing of field, 0.138 or 0.133 and some interesting consequences are obtained in the multiphoton process.

Amplitude-squared squeezing of field in the interaction of an M-level atom with a single mode of a cavity field

Chin-lin Chai, Fuli Li, Zhi‐Ming Zhang

Amplitude-squared squeezing of the radiation field is studied in interaction of a single mode of a cavity field with a multilevel atom. It is found that the squeezing appears only in a short time region when the number of atomic levels is larger than two and the influence of the atomic level number on the squeezing is non-linear.
