Abstract

In this paper, a theoretical scheme is proposed to implement the Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm with SQUIDs (superconducting quantum-interference devices) in cavity via Raman transition. The scheme only requires a quantized cavity field and classical microwave pulses. In this scheme, no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and the cavity is required, the cavity field is only virtually excited and thus the cavity decay is suppressed.

GENERATION OF CLUSTER STATES WITH SUPERCONDUCTING QUANTUM-INTERFERENCE DEVICES IN A CAVITY VIA A RAMAN TRANSITION

XIU-MEI JIANG, Daming Liu, Yi-Zhuang Zheng

We propose a scheme to create cluster states with superconducting quantum-interference devices (SQUIDs) with the help of an auxiliary qubit, by using a quantized cavity field and classical microwave pulses, via Raman transition. In our scheme, no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and the cavity is required. The cavity is only virtually excited during the whole operation and thus the cavity decay is suppressed during the operations and the requirement on the quality factor of the cavity is much relaxed, which could greatly reduce the experimental challenge.

Scheme for Implementing Deutsch–Jozsa Algorithm Using Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices

Chi Ma, Zhang Shi-jun, Ye Liu

We propose a physical scheme for implementing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm with superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) in cavity-QED. The scheme is based on SQUID coupled to a single-mode microwave cavity field or classical microwave pluses. The scheme is very simple and may be realizable experimentally.

Quantum logic gate operation and entanglement with superconducting quantum interference devices in a cavity via a Raman transition

Kehui Song, Zheng-Wei Zhou, Guang‐Can Guo

In the system with superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) in cavity, the quantum logic gates operation and entanglement can be achieved by using a quantized cavity field and classical microwave pluses, via Raman transition. In this scheme, no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and cavity is required, the cavity field is only virtually excited and thus the cavity decay is suppressed during the gate operation and entanglement generations. The gate operation and entanglement generations are realized by using only the two lower flux states of the SQUID system and the excited state would not be excited. Therefore, the effect of docoherence based on the levels of the SQUID system is possible to minimize.

Generation of W States with Many Superconducting-Quantum-Interference-Devices in Cavity QED

Zhiming Zhan

We propose a scheme to generate the W states with many SQUIDs (superconducting-quantum-interference-devices) in cavity QED via Raman transition. In this scheme, the transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and cavity is not required. And the cavity field is only virtually excited, thus the cavity decay is suppressed during the W states generation. The SQUIDs are always populated in the two ground states. Therefore, the scheme is insensitive to the spontaneous emission of the excited level of the SQUID and cavity decay.

Implementation of Phase-covariant Quantum Cloning with Superconducting Quantum-interference Devices in Cavity QED

Yi-Zhuang Zheng

We propose two schemes for realizing 1→2 economical phase-covariant quantum cloning with superconducting quantum-interference devices(SQUID) in cavity QED.In our schemes, the SQUIDs with three levels act with a quantized cavity field and classical microwave pluses via Raman transition. On the condition of large detuning, the excited state would be eliminated adiabaticly.During the whole operation, the cavity field is in the vacuum state at all times,so there is no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and cavity, thus the cavity decay is largely suppressed.By using this method,we can realize the phase-covariant quantum cloning by four steps.
