Abstract

In this paper, we give an experimentally feasible scheme for the remote state preparation by the prior share of an entangled state in cavity QED. The whole process of the remote state preparation for a single-atom state and a two-atom entangled state is shown. We find that only one classical bit and one single-atom state measurement is needed for the remote state preparation of a multi-atom entangled state.

High efficient scheme for remote state preparation with cavity QED

Li Deng, Ai-Xi Chen, Xu Yan-Qiu

In this paper, a scheme is proposed for remote state preparation (RSP) with cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In our scheme, two observers share two-atom nonmaximally entangled state as quantum channels and can realize remote preparation of state of an atom. We also propose a generalization for remote preparation of N -atom entangled state by ( N +1)-atom GHZ-like state ( N ≥ 2). By this scheme, one single-atom projective measurement is enough for the RSP of a qubit or N -atom entangled state, and the probability of success for RSP is unity. Furthermore, we have considered the case where observers use W-like state as quantum channels to realize RSP of a qubit. We compare our scheme with existing ones.

REMOTE FIELD AND ATOMIC STATE PREPARATION

Rameez‐ul Islam, Manzoor Ikram, Ashfaq H. Khosa +1 more

A scheme for remote preparation of field (atomic) states is proposed. Protocol execution requires cavity QED based atom-field interactions successively supplemented with Ramsey interferometry. The state to be remotely prepared at the receiver's end is acquired by deterministically manipulating the sender's component of the pre-shared entangled state. In the case of field entanglement, it is carried out with the help of an atom that passes through the sender's cavity and then traverses a classical external field for specified times prior to detection. However, for atomic entangled states, only interactions with the classical field suffice to complete the task. The scheme guarantees good success probability with high fidelity and requires one bit of classical communication.

Scheme for implementing perfect remote state preparation with W -class state in cavity QED

Wang Xue-Wen, Peng Zhao-Hui

In this paper we present a remote state preparation scheme with a three-qubit W -class state in cavity QED. It has been shown that a special single-qubit state and a special two-qubit entangled state can be remotely prepared perfectly. Furthermore, the classical information cost in this scheme is less than that in the corresponding teleportation scheme and only a single-qubit projective measurement is made by the sender. We also generalize this idea to the multiqubit W -class state.

REMOTE PREPARATION OF TWO-QUBIT ENTANGLED STATE VIA ONE-DIMENSIONAL FOUR-QUBIT CLUSTER AND CLUSTER-CLASS STATES

Lian-Fang Han, Hao Yuan

We propose two protocols for remotely preparing a two-qubit entangled state, where the quantum channels take the form of one-dimensional four-qubit cluster and cluster-class states, respectively. The total success probability and classical communication cost are also calculated.

EXPERIMENTAL REALIZATION OF PROBABILISTIC REMOTE STATE PREPARATION

Wei Wu, Wei-Tao Liu, Ping‐Xing Chen +1 more

We experimentally demonstrate a protocol of probabilistic remote state preparation by virtue of entanglement, local operation and forward classical communications. Arbitrary polarization qubit state can be remotely prepared with this protocol. For both pure states and mixed states, the average efficiency is no less than 50% and the classical information cost is 1 bit. All 18 remotely prepared states were estimated with quantum state tomography system. The fidelities are all above 0.99, with average fidelity being 0.9956.

Practical scheme for remote preparation of a photon–photon entangled state

Tan Jia, Mao-Fa Fang

We present a scheme to remotely prepare a photon–photon entangled state via entanglement swapping in cavity QED. Using two successive processes of appropriate atom–cavity interaction and subsequent measurements, we obtain the entangled state with certain probability.
