Abstract

We investigate the entanglement transfer in two parallel spin chains by anisotropic Heisenberg XY interaction in an external magnetic field. The perfect entanglement transfer condition is obtained. We find that perfect entanglement transfer can be realized from one spin pair to another spin pair at certain times by adjusting the magnetic field strength and the anisotropy parameter, which suggests its potential usefulness in quantum information process.

Anisotropy and Magnetic Field Effects on Entanglement of a Two-Spin (1/2,1) Mixed-Spin Heisenberg XY Chain

Wang Fei, Liping Fu, Ke-Tao Guo

We study the entanglement in anisotropic (1/2,1) mixed-spin Heisenberg XY model under the presence of an external magnetic field at thermal equilibrium. By adjusting the anisotropic parameter and the magnetic field, one is able to obtain entanglement at higher temperature. We find the evidence of the quantum phase transition in the model and observe that the quantum phase transition point at low temperature moves toward weak magnetic field with the increase of the anisotropic parameter.

QUANTUM INFORMATION TRANSFER IN A TWO-PARALLEL SPIN-CHAIN CHANNEL WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL EFFECTS

Jia Liu, Guo‐Feng Zhang, Ziyu Chen

With the effects of Dzialoshinski–Moriya interaction and external magnetic field, the entanglement transfer has been investigated in a parallel spin-chain system. Our results imply that the perfect transfer can be realized at some special times, and the transfer time can be greatly condensed with the rising of the spin-orbit coupling strength. The entanglement sudden death phenomenon is sensitive to the initial condition. In addition, due to the application of magnetic field on the channel spins, the reliability and efficiency of the transmission are greatly challenged.

Quantum teleportation via two qubit Heisenberg XY chain - Effects of anisotropy and magnetic field

Ye Yeo, Tongqi Liu, Yu-En Lu +1 more

In this paper, we study the influence of anisotropy on the usefulness, of the entanglement in a two-qubit Heisenberg XY chain at thermal equilibrium in the presence of an external magnetic field, as resource for quantum teleportation via the standard teleportation protocol. We show that the nonzero thermal entanglement produced by adjusting the external magnetic field strength beyond some critical strength is a useful resource. We also considered entanglement teleportation via two two-qubit Heisenberg XY chains.

Effects of Anisotropy on Pair-wise Entanglement of a Four-Qubit Heisenberg XXZ Chain

Cao Min, Zhu Shi-Qun

The pair-wise thermal entanglement in a four-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain is investigated to study the role of anisotropy when an external magnetic field is included. It is found that pair-wise entanglement is absent between nearest- and next-nearest neighbouring qubits with anisotropic parameter Δ⩽−1. For two nearest-neighbouring qubits, increasing the parameter can not only induce the entanglement, but also extend the entanglement region in terms of magnetic field B and temperature T . For two next-nearest-neighbouring qubits, increasing anisotropic parameter can shift the location of the entanglement and control the extent of the entanglement in terms of magnetic field at a finite temperature.

THERMAL ENTANGLEMENT FOR DIFFERENT INHOMOGENEOUS MAGNETIC FIELDS IN THE ANISOTROPIC HEISENBERG XY MODEL

Da-Chuang Li, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

Thermal entanglement is investigated in a two-qubit Heisenberg XY model with different inhomogeneous magnetic fields. It is found that the entanglement is dependent on the magnetic field, and the magnetic fields along different axes have different control efficiencies of entanglement. In addition, no matter in antiferromagnetic model or in ferromagnetic model, according to the relation between spin–spin coupling coefficients, the more efficient control parameters of entanglement can be obtained by adjusting the direction of external magnetic fields.
