New Aspects of Field Entropy Squeezing as an Indicator for Mixed State Entanglement in an Effective Two-Level System with Stark Shift

Abstract

We present an effective two-level system in interaction through two-photon processes with a single mode quantized electromagnetic field, initially prepared in a coherent state. Field entropy squeezing as an indicator of the entanglement in a mixed state system is suggested. The temporal evolution of the negativity, Wehrl entropy, Wehrl phase distribution and field entropy squeezing are investigated. The results highlight the important roles played by both the Stark shift parameters and the mixed state setting in the dynamics of the Wehrl entropy, Wehrl phase distribution and field entropy squeezing.

Aspects of Entropy Squeezing and Entanglement for Moving Two-Level Atom in Presence of Finite Trio Coherent State

S. I. Ali, Ahmed M. Mosallem, Tarek Emam

In this paper, we investigate the entanglement of the interaction of three modes of radiation field with moving and unmoving two-level atom. The time evolution of the von Neumann entropy, entropy squeezing and marginal atomic Wehrl entropy is investigated. The marginal atomic Wehrl entropy as squeezing indicator of the entanglement of the system is suggested. The results beacon the important roles played by both the atomic motion parameters in the evolution of entanglement, entropy squeezing and marginal atomic Wehrl entropy. Using special values of the photon number of transition and atomic motion parameter, the entanglement phenomena of sudden death and long living entanglenment can be appeared. The results show that there is atomic motion monotonic harmonization atomic Wehrl entropy (WE). It is illustrated that the amount of the above-mentioned phenomena can be tuned by controlling the evolved parameters appropriately.

Generation of a nonlinear two-mode Stark shift through the adiabatic elimination method

A.‐S. F. Obada, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, M. M. A. Ahmed

In this contribution a three-level atom in interaction with a two-mode quantized electromagnetic field, initially prepared in an entangled two-mode coherent state is considered. Through the elimination of an intermediate level by using the adiabatic elimination method a nonlinear Stark shift is introduced. Exact solution of the wave function in the Schrödinger picture is obtained. Some statistical aspects through the effective two-level atom interacting with the mode through multiphotons with the Stark shift are presented. The results are employed to perform a careful investigation of the temporal evolution of the atomic inversion, entropy squeezing. It has been shown that the system is sensitive to any change in the parameter representing the Stark shift. General conclusions reached are illustrated by numerical results.

Entropy squeezing for qubit – field system under decoherence effect

S. Abdel‐Khalek, K. Berrada, A.‐S. F. Obada +1 more

We study in detail the dynamics of field entropy squeezing FES) for a qubit - field system whose dynamics is described by the phase-damped model. The results of calculations show that the initial state and decoherence play a crucial role in the evolution of FES. During the temporal evolution of the system under decoherence effect, an interesting monotonic relation between FES, Wehrl entropy (WE)and negativity is observed.

Generation of dipole squeezing in a two-mode system with entangled coherent states of a quantized electromagnetic field

Rui‐Hua Xie, Qin Rao

Two-mode quantized electromagnetic fields can be entangled and admit a large number of coherent states. In this paper, we consider a two-mode system that consists of a two-level atom interacting with a two-mode quantized electromagnetic field, which is initially prepared in an entangled two-mode coherent state, via a nondegenerate two-photon process in a lossless cavity. We study the quantum fluctuations in the two-mode system and investigate in detail the effects of detuning, Stark shift and atomic coherence on atomic dipole squeezing (ADS). We show that ADS strongly depends on the atomic coherence. It is found that the stronger the correlations between the two modes are involved, the more the ADS could be generated. The detuning or Stark shift has a destructive effect on ADS, but the combined effect of the detuning and Stark shift may lead to a regular, periodical and strong ADS pattern.

Effects of the Stark Shift on the Evolution of the Field Entropy and Entanglement in the Two-Photon Jaynes-Cummings Model

Mao Fa Fang

The evolution of the field entropy in the two-photon JCM in the presence of the Stark shift is investigated, and the effects of the dynamic Stark shift on the evolution of the field entropy and entanglement between the atom and field, are examined. The results show that the dynamic Stark shift plays an important role in the evolution of the field entropy in two-photon processes.

Entropy squeezing of a degenerate two-photon process with a nonlinear medium

Tarek M. El-Shahat, S. Abdel‐Khalek, Mahmoud Abdel‐Aty +1 more

Abstract This paper presents new results on some aspects of the properties of the entropy squeezing in the time development of a degenerate two-photon of a single-mode interacting with a two-level system with a nonlinear medium. A general analytic expression for the density matrix is obtained on the basis of a Hamiltonian generalized in that it includes nonlinear effects and Stark shifts, by means of which we identify and numerically demonstrate the region of parameters where significantly large squeezing can be obtained. The influence of various parameters on the entropy squeezing are explored. It is shown that features of the entropy squeezing were influenced significantly by changing the nonlinear medium, Stark shift and the detuning. The results show that, certain amounts of the nonlinear effect yield the superstructure of atomic Rabi oscillation and changes the quasiperiod of the entropy evolution and atomic inversion.
