Entanglement Purification for Mixed Entangled Quantum Dot States via Superconducing Transmission Line Resonators

Abstract

An entanglement purification protocol for mixed entangled states is presented via double quantum dot molecules inside a superconducing transmission line resonator (TLR). In the current scenario, coupling for arbitrary double quantum dot molecules can be tuned via the TLR in the large detuning region by controlling the qubit level splitting. The TLR is always empty and only virtually excited, so the interaction is insensitive to both the TLR decay and thermal field. Discussion about the feasibility of our scheme shows that the entanglement purification can be implemented with high fidelity and successful probability.

A Scheme for Realizing Entanglement Concentration via Double Quantum Dot Molecular and Superconducting Transmission Line Resonator

Zhuo‐Liang Cao

Coupling and controlling between arbitrary two double quantum dot molecules can be implemented using quantum dot molecular and superconducting transmission line resonator (STLR). In the large detuning region, the interaction is insensitive to both the STLR decay and thermal field. Finally,a scheme for entanglement concentration with successfully probability 50% is proposed.

Dispersive coupling between the superconducting transmission line resonator and the double quantum dots

Guo‐Ping Guo, Hui Zhang, Yong Hu +2 more

Realization of controllable interaction between distant qubits is one of the major problems in scalable solid-state quantum computing. We study a superconducting transmission line resonator (TLR) as a tunable dispersive coupler for the double-dot molecules. A general interaction Hamiltonian of $n$ two-electron spin-based qubits and the TLR is presented, where the double-dot qubits are biased at the large detuning region and the TLR is always empty and virtually excited. Our analysis of the main decoherence sources indicates that various major quantum operations can be reliably implemented with current technology.

Arbitrary and Fast Quantum Gate with Semiconductor Double-Dot Molecules on a Chip

Wei-Ping Zou, Gang Zhang, Zheng‐Yuan Xue

We propose a scheme to achieve a kind of nontrivial two-qubit operation using controllable electrons in double-dot molecules coupled to a transmission line resonator. The implemented operation is geometrical in nature and insensitive to the state of the transmission line resonator. In particular, we are able to avoid conventional dispersive coupling so that a high speed gate operation can be achieved, which is important in view of decoherence. Meanwhile, we are able to further generalize the operation to an arbitrary phase case by dynamic decoupling with two sequences.

Generation of Quantum-Dot Cluster States with a Superconducting Transmission Line Resonator

Zhirong Lin, Guo‐Ping Guo, Tao Tu +2 more

We propose an efficient method to generate cluster states in spatially separated double quantum dots with a superconducting transmission line resonator. When the detuning between the double-dot qubit transition frequency and the frequency of the full wave mode in the transmission line resonator satisfies some conditions, an Ising-like operator between an arbitrary two separated qubits can be achieved. Even including the main noise sources, it is shown that the high fidelity cluster states could be generated in this solid system in just one step.

QUANTUM INFORMATION PROCESSING IN AN ARRAY OF SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSMISSION LINE RESONATORS

Jian Li, Jian Zou, Bin Shao

We consider a one-dimensional array of superconducting transmission line resonators (TLRs). The TLRs are coupled by current-biased Josephson junctions, which act as tunable couplers between each two nearest TLRs, and a superconducting qubit is fabricated in the center of each TLR. We show that some important quantum information processing, such as quantum state transfer and preparation of remote entanglement, can be achieved in this system, and we also propose a scheme for generating the W-class states.
