Screening of the Coulomb Potential in the Athermal Stage in Highly Excited Semiconductors

E. Heiner

Abstract Equations for the reduced density operator are evaluated. Investigating the subdynamics of nonrelevant observables a resolvent formulation is obtained selfconsistently for the screening part of the evolution superoperator. Utilizing the diagonal representation for the time‐dependent mean field term of the Hamiltonian, a selfconsistent concrete calculation of the screened potential is possible in the high density limit of the nonequilibrium. The result is an extension of the well known RPA‐formula for nonequilibrium two‐band systems of Fermions. An extension to the semimarkovian approximation is counted for.

Adiabatic Selfconsistent Collective Coordinate Method for Large Amplitude Collective Motion in Nuclei with Pairing Correlations

Masayuki Matsuo, Takashi Nakatsukasa, K. Matsuyanagi

An adiabatic approximation to the selfconsistent collective coordinate method is formulated in order to describe large amplitude collective motions in nuclei with pairing correlations on the basis of the time-dependent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov equations of motion. The basic equations are presented in a local harmonic form which can be solved in a manner similar to that of the quasiparticle RPA equations. The formalism guarantees the conservation of nucleon number expectation values. An extension to the multi-dimensional case is also discussed.
