Abstract

We propose a novel protocol for quantum secure direct communication with cluster states. In this protocol, the two legitimate users, Alice and Bob, can directly transmit the secret messages by using the Bell-basis measurement and Z -basis measurement, respectively, in classical communication. Since our quantum secure direct communication protocol is based on the cluster state, it is easily processed by a one-way quantum computer.

AN EFFICIENT DETERMINISTIC SECURE QUANTUM COMMUNICATION SCHEME WITH CLUSTER STATE

Hao Yuan, Jun Song, Hu Xiao-Yuan +1 more

A novel efficient scheme for deterministic secure quantum communication with cluster state is proposed. By utilizing Bell-basis- and [Formula: see text]-basis-measurements, the two legitimate users can directly transmit secret message after exchanging some additional classical information. It has a high capacity as each cluster state can carry two bits of information, and has a high intrinsic efficiency because almost all the instances are useful. Since the present scheme is based on the cluster state which is robust against decoherence, it is easily processed by a one-way quantum computer. Furthermore, this scheme is feasible with present-day technique.

Deterministic Secure Quantum Communication with Cluster State and Bell-Basis Measurements

Yuan Hao, He Qin, Hu Xiao-Yuan +3 more

We present a novel protocol for deterministic secure quantum communication by using the four-qubit cluster state as quantum channel. It is shown that two legitimate users can directly transmit the secret messages based on Bell-basis measurements and classical communication. The present protocol makes use of the ideas of block transmission and decoy particle checking technique. It has a high capacity as each cluster state can carry two bits of information, and has a high intrinsic efficiency because almost all the instances except the decoy checking particles (its number is negligible) are useful. Furthermore, this protocol is feasible with present-day technique.

Two semi-quantum secure direct communication protocols based on Bell states

Yuhua Sun, Lili Yan, Yan Zuo Chang +3 more

Quantum secure direct communication allows one participant to transmit secret messages to another directly without generating a shared secret key first. In most of the existing schemes, quantum secure direct communication can be achieved only when the two participants have full quantum ability. In this paper, we propose two semi-quantum secure direct communication protocols to allow restricted semi-quantum or “classical” users to participate in quantum communication. A semi-quantum user is restricted to measure, prepare, reorder and reflect quantum qubits only in the classical basis [Formula: see text]. Both protocols rely on quantum Alice to randomly prepare Bell states, perform Bell basis measurements and publish the initial Bell states, but the semi-quantum Bob only needs to measure the qubits in classical basis to obtain secret information without quantum memory. Security and qubit efficiency analysis have been given in this paper. The analysis results show that the two protocols can avoid some eavesdropping attacks and their qubit efficiency is higher than some current related quantum or semi-quantum protocols.

Quantum Secure Direct Communication Protocol Based on Cluster Entangled State

Huang Hong-Mei

We present a new quantum secure direct communication protocol with three-particle entangled state. The communication parties utilize decoy photons to check eavesdropping. The sender encodes the secret message with unitary transformation, we can directly transmit secret message with Bell-basis measurement and Z-basis measurement. The protocol is efficient in that all entangled states are used to transmit the secret message and two bits message can be transmitted one time, the preparation of three-particle entangled state is realized technique, the protocol is feasible to operate. The protocol is also verified to be secure for a noise quantum channel.

Quantum Secure Direct Communication with W State

Hai-Jing Cao, He‐Shan Song

A new theoretical scheme for quantum secure direct communication is proposed, where four-qubit symmetric W state functions as quantum channel. It is shown that two legitimate users can directly transmit the secret messages by using Bell-basis measurements and classical communication. The scheme is completely secure if the quantum channel is perfect. Even if the quantum channel is unsecured, it is still possible for two users to perform their secure communication. One bit secret message can be transmitted by sending a bit classical information.

Efficient Deterministic Secure Quantum Communication with Cluster State

A novel efficient deterministic secure quantum communication protocol with four-qubit cluster states is proposed. By making Bell measurement and single-photon measurement, the two legitimate users can transmit the secret messages after exchanging some additional classical information. It has a high capacity as each cluster state can carry three bits of classical information, and its total efficiency of the quantum communication is 1/2, which is 2.5 times than that in the previous protocol. Analysis shows it is secure and feasible with present-day technique.
