DYNAMICAL HAMILTONIAN FOR PREASSIGNED TIME-EVOLUTION OF FERMIONIC SQUEEZING

Hong-Yi Fan, Lin Jing-Xian

We derive the general form of dynamical Hamiltonian generating the preassigned time-evolution of multimode fermionic squeezing. The fermionic squeezing is a quantum-mechanical image in fermionic Hilbert space corresponding to an orthogonal transformation in pseudo-classical Grassmann number space. The derivation is mainly based on the orthogonal properties of the transformation matrices. It is shown that some new fermionic operator realization of SO (2n) group and some new Hamiltonians can be obtained via this approach.

Fractional squeezing: spectra and dynamics from generalized squeezing Hamiltonian with fractional orders

Sahel Ashhab

We generalize the generalized-squeezing problem to include fractional values of the squeezing order $n$. This approach allows us to determine the locations of critical points at which qualitative changes in behaviour occur and accurately predict the behaviour at these critical points, which are challenging for conventional computational methods. Based on our numerical calculations, we identify with a high degree of confidence the point at which the spectrum turns from continuous to discrete and the point at which oscillations turn from having asymptotically infinite amplitudes to having finite amplitudes. Furthermore, we numerically investigate the behaviour in the large $n$ regime and provide an intuitive explanation for the numerical results.

AMPLITUDE SQUEEZING OF LIGHT FIELD IN CAVITY

Zhengdong Liu, Chang-qi Cao, D. L. Lin +1 more

In case the speed v of the atoms flying scross the cavity can be exactly adjusted, the light field originally in the cavity may be built into amplitude-squeezed state by adjusting the speed v to the preassigned value. It is also capable to make the photon distribution to have several peaks.
