Abstract

We consider the teleportation of a field state, which is in a coherent superposition of ${2}^{n}$ Fock states, from one cavity to another, and present an experimentally feasible scheme for this purpose.

In this article we discuss two schemes of teleportation of cavity field states. In the first scheme we consider cavities prepared in a coherent state and in the second scheme we consider cavities prepared in a superposition of zero and one Fock states.

Quantum Teleportation with Atomic Ensembles and Coherent Light

We show that an unknown quantum state can be teleported from one free-space atomic ensemble to another by using only coherent light. Neither non-classical light nor cavities are needed in the scheme, which greatly simplifies its experimental implementation.
