Abstract

The generalisation of the quantum inverse scattering method is used to diagonalise the transfer matrix of Belavin's Z n *Z n symmetric model (1981). The eigenvalues and Bethe ansatz equations are obtained.

Integrable Boundary Conditions Associated with the Zn × Zn Belavin Model and Solutions of Reflection Equation

Heng Fan, Kangjie Shi, Bo-Yu Hou +1 more

We construct solvable models with nontrivial boundary from the well known Belavin R-matrix. The reflection equation for the boundary reflection matrix is studied and the complete solution for the one associated with the eight-vertex model is found.

Integrable Vertex Models with General Twists(Solvable Lattice Models 2004 : Recent Progress on Solvable Lattice Models )

Marcio Jose Martins

We review recent progress towards the solution of exactly solved isotropic vertex models with arbitrary toroidal boundary conditions.Quantum space transformations make it possible the diagonalization of the corresponding transfer matrices by means of the quantum inverse scattering method.Explicit expressions for the eigenvalues and Bethe ansatz equations of the twisted isotropic spin chains based on the $B_{n},$ $D_{n}$ and $C_{n}$ Lie algebras are presented. The applicability of this approach to the eight vertex model with non-diagonal twists is also discussed.

On the solutions of the Z-Belavin model with arbitrary number of sites

Kun Hao, Fa-Kai Wen, Junpeng Cao +4 more

The periodic Zn-Belavin model on a lattice with an arbitrary number of sites N is studied via the off-diagonal Bethe Ansatz method (ODBA). The eigenvalues of the corresponding transfer matrix are given in terms of an unified inhomogeneous T−Q relation. In the special case of N=nl with l being also a positive integer, the resulting T−Q relation recovers the homogeneous one previously obtained via algebraic Bethe Ansatz.

A FAMILY OF FACE MODELS RELATED TO Z N-SYMMETRIC VERTEX MODEL OF BELAVIN

Yuji Yamada

We present face-type elliptic solutions to the Yang-Baxter equation. They have 2N-2 real parameters. When specializing them to definite values, we recover the various models so far known. The intertwining relation between the face models above and the ZN-symmetric vertex model of Belavin is also given.

Bethe ansatz for higher spin eight-vertex models

Takashi Takebe

A generalization of the eight-vertex model by means of higher spin representations of the Sklyanin algebra is investigated by the quantum inverse scattering method and the algebraic Bethe ansatz. Under the well known string hypothesis low-lying excited states are considered and scattering phase shifts of two physical particles are calculated. The S-matrix of two-particle states is shown to be proportional to Baxter`s (1972) elliptic R-matrix with a different elliptic modulus from the original one.

The Exact Solution of the SU(3) Hubbard Model

Buoyu Hou, Dan-Tao Peng, Rui‐Hong Yue

The Bethe ansatz equations of the 1-D SU(3) Hubbard model are systematically derived by diagonalizing the inhomogeneous transfer matrix of the XXX model. We first derive the scattering matrix of the SU(3) Hubbard model through the coordinate Bethe ansatz method. Then, with the help quantum inverse scattering method we solve the nested transfer matrix and give the eigenvalues, the eigenvectors and the Bethe ansatz equations. Finally, we obtain the exactly analytic solution for the ground state. PACS:05.20.-y; 05.50.+q; 04.20.Jb; 03.65.Fd
