Abstract

In the paper ( Phys. Rev. 2006 A 74 062320) Agrawal et al. have introduced a kind of W-class state which can be used for the quantum teleportation of single-particle state via a three-particle von Neumann measurement, and they thought that the state could not be used to teleport an unknown state by making two-particle and one-particle measurements. Here we reconsider the features of the W-class state and the quantum teleportation process via the W-class state. We show that, by introducing a unitary operation, the quantum teleportation can be achieved deterministically by making two-particle and one-particle measurements. In addition, our protocol is extended to the process of teleporting two-particle state and splitting information.

TELEPORTING AND SPLITTING ARBITRARY SINGLE-QUBIT INFORMATION USING A CLASS OF THREE-QUBIT W STATES

JIE YANG, Yimin Liu, Xueqin Zuo +1 more

Using a class of three-qubit W states as quantum channel, we present a quantum teleportation (QT) scheme and a quantum information splitting (QIS) scheme, respectively. We compare our schemes with two similar schemes proposed recently. It is found that our QT scheme reduces the operation difficulty in contrast to Agrawal and Pati's QT scheme [Phys. Rev. A74 (2006) 062320], and our QIS scheme is more applicable than Zheng's QIS scheme [Phys. Rev. A74 (2006) 054303] for the latter is only a special case of the former in some given conditions.

Quantum teleportation of a three-qubit entangled states via W-class states

I Nengah Artawan, Agus Purwanto

We propose a novel and efficient scheme for quantum teleportation a three-qubit entanglement state via two sets W-class states. The local measurement on Alice's particle using two three von-Neumann projective and Bob reconstruct using unitary transformation. This quantum teleportation scheme is perfect, i.e. the success of probability and fidelity can reach one.

Probabilistic Teleportation of an Unknown One-Particle State by a Three-Particle General W State

Xiu Xiao-Ming, Li Dong, Gao Ya-Jun

Two schemes for teleporting an unknown one-particle state are proposed when a general W state is utilized as quantum channel. In the first scheme, after the sender (Alice) makes a Bell-state measurement on her particles, the recipient (Bob) performs a Von Neumann measurement and introduces an auxiliary particle, and carries out a unitary transformation on his particle and the auxiliary particle, and performs a Von Neumann measurement on the auxiliary particle to confirm whether the teleportation succeeds or not. In the second scheme, the recipient (Bob) does not need to perform the first Von Neumann measurement or introduce the auxiliary particle, which is necessary in the first scheme. It is shown that the maximal probabilities of successful teleportation of the two schemes are identical if the recipient (Bob) performs an appropriate unitary transformation and adopts a proper particle on which he recovers the quantum information of state to be teleported.

Teleportation of Multipartite State via W State

Zheng‐Yuan Xue, You-Min Yi, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

A scheme of teleporting a multi-particle state via W state is presented. The W class states serve as quantum channels. After the sender operates both Von Neumann measurements and Bell-state measurements and then inform the receiver her results, the receiver can reconstruct the original state by corresponding unitary transformation. The probability of successful teleportation is also obtained. Special example of four-particle state is discussed in detail.

Quantum teleportation of two types of three-qubit states via the W class states

I Nengah Artawan, Agus Purwanto

We propose a quantum teleportation protocol to transmit two types of three-qubit states in the form of both specific three-qubit unentangled states and three-qubit entangled states_by using twofold of three-qubit W class states with Bob’s ancillary particle. This paper shows that Bob’s unitary transformation is performed in two steps. Firstly, we utilize two unitary operations into Bob’s particle. Lastly, a unitary transformation is applied to reconstruct Bob’s information. Both the success probability and fidelity of the protocol can attain the values of one.

An Arbitrary Two-particle State Probabilistic Teleportation Scheme

Feng Chi

A scheme for teleporting an unknown two-particle state is proposed when two general W states are utilized as quantum channels. After the sender′s Bell-state measurements, the recipient needs to carry out appropriate unitary transformations and perform Von Neumann measurements. The recipient can realize teleportation with maximal probability of successful teleportation by selecting proper unitary transformations without considering on which particles to recover the original state.
