Weyl ordering quantum mechanical operators by virtue of the IWWP technique

Abstract

The properties of Weyl ordered products of operators are investigated and the technique of integration within Weyl ordered product (IWWP) is introduced. The overcompleteness relation of the coherent state is then recast into Weyl ordered form. In so doing, a new approach for Weyl ordering quantum mechanical operators is presented.

On the Weyl Ordering Operation

Hong-Yi Fan, Hai-Guang Weng

A Weyl ordering product operation (with its representative symbol) is introduced. On the basis of the operation, a technique of integration within a Weyl ordered product is put forward. Application of the technique to the coherent state representation leads us to derive the Weyl ordered forms of some important operators in quantum mechanics, which can be rigorously checked by the relation between our Weyl ordering product operation and the Weyl correspondence rule.

New Formulation of Weyl Quantization Scheme in Coherent State Representation

Tang-Kun Liu, Hong-Yi Fan

By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we present a new formulation of the Weyl quantization scheme in the coherent state representation, which not only brings convenience for calculating the Weyl correspondence of normally ordered operators, but also directly leads us to find both the coherent state representation and the Weyl ordering representation of the Wigner operator.

Operators’ ordering: from Weyl ordering to normal ordering

Fan Hong

By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we present a new approach to obtain operators’ normal ordering. We first put operators into their Weyl ordering through the Weyl-Wigner quantization scheme, and then we convert the Weyl ordered operators into normal ordering by virtue of the normally ordered form of the Wigner operator.

Derivation of Squeezed States Via Weyl Ordering Approach

Hong-Yi Fan, Yue Fan

By virtue of the invariance of Weyl ordering under similar transformations we find a new approach to derive explicit forms of squeezed states. The technique of integration within an ordered product of operators is fully used in our discussions.

Weyl-Ordered Operator Product Formula Derived by Technique of Integration Within Weyl-Ordered Product of Operators

Fan Hong-Yi, Qin Guo

Based on the explicit Weyl-ordered form of Wigner operator and the technique of integration within Weyl-ordered product of operators we derive the Weyl-ordered operator product formula. The formula is then generalized to the entangled form with the help of entangled state representations.

WEYL-ORDERED POLYNOMIALS STUDIED BY VIRTUE OF THE IWWOP TECHNIQUE

Hong-Yi Fan

We investigate the properties of the Weyl-ordered polynomials Tm,n by the technique of integration within a Weyl-ordered product (IWWOP) and the Weyl quantization rule. The introduction of the Weyl-ordering symbol ⋮⋮ and the IWWOP provide us with a convenient approach for deriving the Weyl-ordered form of the product of Tm,n and other operators. The Weyl-ordered Dirac's δ-function form of the Wigner operator can also directly lead us to the Weyl quantization formalism for the functions of radial vaiables.
