Path Integral Evaluation of a Time-Dependent Oscillator in an External Field

The Lagrangian of a system describing the dynamical behaviour of a time-dependent harmonic oscillator is modified and then used to evaluate the Feynman path integral of the oscillator. The path integral of the time-dependent oscillator is shown to reduce to the time-independent within certain limits.

On the quantum mechanics of dissipative Lagrangians

G J Papadopoulos

An appropriate path differential measure is employed for obtaining the path integral representation of the propagator of a particle with a time dependent 'mass'. The evaluations are restricted to quadratic Lagrangians and the propagator for the damped harmonic oscillator is given explicitly.

Remarks on the Time Transformation of Path-Integral Measures

Reijiro Kubo

By means of a time transformation of path-integral measures we rewrite the usual Feynman path integral as a path integral of determinants with the Wiener measure. We derive a formula, which is useful in evaluating path integrals.
