Temporal cloak for data restraint and illusion

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a temporal cloak with the new capability not only to conceal pseudorandom inverted return-to-zero optical data (cloaking mode), but also to create “illusion” optical data for observer at telecommunication data rate (romanticizing mode).

Temporal cloaking enhancements for optical communication

We demonstrate a temporal cloak with the capability to simultaneously hide and transmit optical data, as well as prevent corruption by an interfering event. Our results significantly expand the potential of time cloaking in telecommunications.
