Abstract

We propose a simple scheme for implementing Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED. Our scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and thermal field because we use the large-detuned interaction. The scheme would be important to constructing practical computer in cavity QED system.

Implementation of Deutsch-Jozsa Algorithm Via Cavity QED

Mei Jin-feng

A scheme for the implementation of the two-qubit Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm using cavity QED was proposed. The advantages of the proposal are demonstrated as follows. One is that the cavity feld is only virtually excited and the photon-number-dependent part in the effective Hamiltonian is cancelled so that the system is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field. The other one is that we don't require any Hadamard operation, which makes the schematic setup simple. Therefore, the present scheme is available based on the current technologies.

Scheme for implementing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED

Shi-Biao Zheng

We propose a scheme for realizing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of atoms with a cavity mode. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the microwave cavity QED setup. The experimental implementation of the scheme would be an important step toward more complex quantum computation in cavity QED.

Efficient Scheme for Implementing the Deutsch-Jozsa Algorithm in Cavity QED

Xue-Ke Song, Liu Ye

A scheme is proposed for implementing a two-qubit quantum logic gate and realizing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED. In the scheme a three-level atom interacts with highly detuned cavity modes. The gate is not affected by the atomic decay rates because of the metastable lower levels are involved in the gate operations. The Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm is easily realized with current experimental techniques.

Simple scheme for implementing the Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm in a thermal cavity

We present a simple scheme to implement the Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm based on two-atom interaction in a thermal cavity. The photon-number-dependent parts in the evolution operator are cancelled with the strong resonant classical field added. As a result, our scheme is immune to the thermal field, and does not require the cavity to remain in the vacuum state throughout the procedure. Besides, large detuning between the atoms and the cavity is not necessary either, leading to potential speed up of quantum operation. Finally, we show by numerical simulation that the proposed scheme is equal to demonstrate the Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm with high fidelity.
