Abstract

We present a scheme to entangle fields in multiple cavities. Our scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a Ξ-type three-level atom with the cavity fields for precalculated interaction time, which enables us to generate a quantum entangled Greenberger–Horn–Zeilinger (GHZ) state of fields in multiple cavities. In principle, the scheme can be also generalized to generate N -party GHZ state. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the microwave cavity QED set up.

We present a scheme for the generation of entanglement between different modes of radiation field inside high-$Q$ superconducting cavities. Our scheme is based on the interaction of a three-level atom with the cavity field for precalculated interaction times with each mode. This work enables us to generate a complete set of Bell basis states and a quantum entangled Greenberger-Horn-Zeilinger state.

Scheme for Preparation of the W State via Cavity QED

Zhiming Zhan, Jiahua Li, Luo Jin-Ming

We put forward a scheme for preparation of an entangled multiparty W state between different modes of radiation field inside high-Q cavity QED. Our scheme is based on the interaction of a two-level atom with the cavity field with the assistance of a strong classical driving field for precalculated interaction time. In principle, the scheme can be extended to prepare an N-party W state. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the microwave cavity QED setup.

Simple schemes for generating the three-atom W state and the Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger state among nonidentical atoms

Xin Ji, Tianquan Lü, Shou Zhang

We present two schemes for generating the three-atom W state and the GHZ state with one ?-type atom and two 2-level atoms interacting resonantly with two modes or one mode of a two-mode field in turns. The schemes neither require the three atoms to go through the cavity simultaneously (which is difficult to realize in experiment), nor require the detection of photons. The schemes work beyond the strong-coupling regime, so that we can obtain high-fidelity entanglement.

SCHEME FOR PREPARATION OF GHZ STATE AMONG MULTI-CAVITY

Zhiming Zhan

We present a scheme to generate the tripartite GHZ state via cavity quantum electrodynamics. Our scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a V-type three-level atom with the cavity fields for precalculated interaction time. Also, this scheme can be directly generalized to prepare the general n-qubit GHZ state.

Entanglement engineering of a GHZ-state and W-state using arbitrary numbers of cavities

Zainub Liaqat, Aeysha Khalique, Manzoor Ikram

Abstract We develop a theoretical model for entanglement engineering to generate a multipartite system of field states in high-Q cavities using a cavity-QED. Our model consists of two-level atoms interacting successively with the field inside the arbitrary number of high-Q cavities for pre-calculated interaction times of the atoms with the fields. Controlling these pre-calculated interaction times of the atom-field gives the successful generation of the Greenberg–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state and the W-state in N cavities. We also evaluate the dynamics of entanglement of GHZ entangled field states when they interact with the reservoir.

A simplified scheme for realizing Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states

Shi-Biao Zheng

In the context of cavity QED a scheme is proposed for the generation of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states. In the scheme three appropriately prepared atoms are sent through an initially empty cavity. Choosing the interaction time of each atom with the field appropriately, the three atoms are finally in a state having the GHZ form. The scheme is easily generalized for preparing n -atom entangled states.
