Cloud Computing is the latest technology that has come to the center-stage because of its ability to achieve economies of scale, quite like mass-production. However, shifting to Cloud comes with certain strings attached, especially security concerns associated with outsourcing critical data and processing to a third party. One way to tackle the security issues can be approaching it using Quantum Computing, which itself is a highly researched area with huge expectations from the researchers. So far, the two fields (viz. Cloud Computing and Quantum Computing), have been researched independent of each other. The paper explains why they should be integrated. The paper presents quantum cryptographic protocols and studies their application in enhancing Cloud security, particularly Network security and Data security. Further, it outlines the work that can be done and finally, seeks to identify possible research directions.

Cloud computing has changed the paradigm of using computing resources. It has shifted from traditional storage and computing to Internet based computing leveraging economy of scale, cost saving, elimination of data redundancy, scalability, availability and regulatory compliance. With these, cloud also brings plenty of security issues. As security is not a one-time solution, there have been efforts to investigate and provide countermeasures. In the wake of emerging quantum computers, the aim of post-quantum cryptography is to develop cryptography schemes that are secure against both classical computers and quantum computers. Since cloud is widely used across the globe for outsourcing data, it is essential to strive at providing betterment of security schemes from time to time. This paper reviews recent development, methods of cloud data security in post-quantum perspectives. It provides useful insights pertaining to the security schemes used to safeguard data dynamics associated with cloud computing. The findings of this paper gives directions for further research in pursuit of more secure cloud data storage and retrieval.

So, there is a dire need to develop and implement some alternative cryptographic strategies and measures. To overcome these challenges, this research proposes the creation and usage of quantum-inspired cryptographic protocols which are designed to resist attacks from both traditional and quantum vulnerabilities. These protocols are inspired from quantum mechanics, like superposition and entanglement. These protocols will help to design and create cryptographic systems and models that offer enhanced security. The research focuses on the theoretical foundations of these quantum mechanics inspired protocols and assesses their practical feasibility within cloud computing infrastructures and environment. This research contains information regarding the challenges associated with integration and deployment of quantum inspired cryptographic solutions in cloud computing. It evaluates the scalability, efficiency, performance and computational overhead of these quantum inspired protocols to ensure their practical feasibility and capability in existing cloud computing environment and infrastructures. This research also includes comparison performed with quantum cryptographic protocols and traditional cryptographic methods. The results aim to provide evidence that quantum cryptographic techniques are better, feasible and secure options to protect data over cloud. In Conclusion, the research aims to provide an insight that development and usage of advanced security measures can withstand and handle evolving threats, ensuring the continued security and protection of data in cloud computing environment by providing theoretical insights, analysis and evolution.
Quantum computing has emerged as a transformative technology with the potential to revolutionize various domains, including cryptography. This research paper addresses the pressing issue of enhancing cryptographic protocols in cloud security through the integration of quantum computing. The main objective of this study is to develop and evaluate novel cryptographic protocols that leverage the computational power of quantum systems to enhance security measures in cloud environments. To achieve this objective, we employed a hybrid methodology that combines classical cryptographic techniques with quantum algorithms. Specifically, we designed a framework incorporating quantum key distribution (QKD) and post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) algorithms to ensure robust security against quantum attacks. The framework was implemented and tested in a simulated cloud environment to assess its effectiveness and performance. The results indicate that the proposed quantum-enhanced cryptographic protocols significantly improve the security and resilience of cloud systems. Our findings demonstrate that the integration of QKD and PQC provides a higher level of security compared to traditional cryptographic methods, effectively mitigating potential threats posed by quantum computers. Additionally, the performance analysis shows that the proposed protocols are computationally feasible and can be integrated into existing cloud infrastructures with minimal overhead. In conclusion, this research highlights the potential of quantum computing to address critical security challenges in cloud computing. The proposed quantum-enhanced cryptographic protocols offer a promising solution for protecting sensitive data in cloud environments against emerging quantum threats. Future work will focus on refining these protocols and exploring their practical applications in real-world cloud systems. .
Cloud computing has emerged as the prevailing development in healthcare systems across the global market. These systems are creating and processing vast amounts of patient data that require a certain level of security. However, due to the introduction of quantum computation, the future of cryptographic techniques on which Cloud security relies is in danger. The following paper seeks to explore the compatibility of quantum computing and cloud security and regard to the protection of health data. It also includes a comprehensive analysis of the current risks, a discussion of already existing quantum-vulnerable points, and a strategy for creating a quantum-safe strategy for safe patient data storage in healthcare. The study under consideration also employs quantum cryptography and cloud structures to identify threats and create appropriate defence mechanisms. Some models explored and analyzed include Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and hybrid cryptosystems. A simulated hospital database has brought about the fragility of some of these algorithms, a research work dubbed as quantum resilience, in order to explain how it is possible to integrate these two concepts without removing the aspects of the cloud that make it appealing to many people, including scalability and accessibility. This indicates that there has been a major enhancement in standing against quantum attacks, specifically showing the way towards effective, sustainable and protected healthcare information systems.
Enhancement of security in cloud computing is challengeable when big data such as medical and government confidential information involves in a cloud environment. The managing key for individual user participated in the mobile cloud will be the problem when big data is handled without efficient security key management.Especially, mobile cloud nodes where users handle their data can be anywhere else in the cloud environment. So, managing keys for random users and finding correct locations of users" nodes and their identities are interesting areas for the research. To solve this problem related to key management, cloud services need efficient key management that employs quantum cryptography using Grover"s algorithm. Moreover, in this research, we introduce effective authentication technique in order to improve the level of security (with minimum complexity) In this paper, theoretical model, Grover"s algorithm and quantum cryptography with the PairHand protocol are considered as methodologies. As summarized results, security levels of users and services providers are considered to verify the services used in a cloud environment. In spite of same quantum properties characterize the light, data security issues are still not matured with the light technology.Hiding the big data in the light through this research methodology will be the conclusion of the future security.
