The field entropy evolution of Schrdinger cat state light field interacting with the atom under intrinsic decoherence condition

Wu Shu

The field entropy evolution in a system of the Schrodinger cat state light field interacting with a two-level atom was studied by solving Milburn equation. The influence of intrinsic decoherence, the strength of light field and the phase angle between the two coherence states on the field entropy evolution was discussed. The results show that the field entropy vibration will be weak gradually because of the intrinsic decoherence, and the degree of entanglement in the field-atom system approaches to a certain value with time evolution.Furthermore, the degree of entanglement in the field-atom system only depends on the strength of light field and the phase angle between the two coherence states, and have nothing to do with intrinsic decoherence. When the strength of light field is relatively small, the degree of entanglement is maximum in a system of a two-level atom interacting with an odd coherence state light field, and it is minimum in a system of a two-level atom interacting with an even coherence state light field;it is intermediate for a system of a two-level atom interacting with Yurke-Stoler coherence state light field. When the intrinsic decoherence is fixed and the strength of light field is relatively large, the degree of entanglement in the field-atom system existing in the Yurke-stoler,the even coherence state and odd coherence state tends to the same.

Logarithmic Negativity Versus Quantum Discord in a System of Dipolar Coupled Spins Undergoing Intrinsic Decoherence

Mansoura Oumennana, Essalha Chaouki, Mostafa Mansour

Abstract This research delves into the dynamic evolution of bipartite entanglement and nonclassical correlations within a two-spin system governed by dipole-dipole interactions and Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya (DM) coupling, while affected by intrinsic decoherence (ID). Beginning with the initialization of the bipartite system in a Werner state, we investigate how ID, dipolar coupling parameters, DM interaction strength, and uniform magnetic field strengths influence the progression of quantum entanglement and nonclassical correlations. Logarithmic negativity serves as a metric for quantifying entanglement, while quantum discord is employed to probe nonclassical correlations beyond entanglement. Our results highlight that strategic adjustments to the system parameters can alleviate the undesirable impact of ID. Moreover, the choice of initial state and its degree of pureness significantly influences the levels of entanglement and quantum discord within the dipolar-coupled spins system.

Influence of phase decoherence on entanglement of two atoms in multiphoton process

Zhang Dong-xia

By means of the quantum theory and negative eigenvalues of the partial transposition, properties of entanglement evolution in system of two two-level atoms coupled to a light field in the Fock state are investigated in the presence of phase decoherence in the multiphoton Tavis-Cumming Model. The influences of the phase decoherence coefficient,dipole-dipole coupling intensity and number of transitional photons on properties of entanglement evolution between two atoms were discussed. The results show that the phase decoherence doesn't destroy coherence completely but attenuates oscillated amplitude of the entanglement degree between two entangled atoms. With increasing of the dipole-dipole coupling intensity and number of transitional photons, the two entangled atoms approach the entanglement state in which there is a stable entanglement degree finally. The better coherences between two atoms are,the larger value of entanglement degree between two entangled atoms can be obtained, and state in the two entangled atoms are more stable.
