Engineering entanglement, geometric phase, and quantum Fisher information of a three‐level system with energy dissipation

S. Abdel‐Khalek, Sayed Mohamed Abo-Dahab, Mahmoud Ragab +2 more

Quantum Fisher information (QFI) and geometric phase have recently performed different tasks in quantum information technology. We investigate the statistical quantities as the QFI and entanglement of a three‐level atom in Λ configuration interacting with a quantized field mode by using linear entropy. We study the dynamical behavior of the geometric phase based on the engineering of a three‐level atomic configuration. We analyze the effect of energy dissipation of the dynamical properties of the geometric phase and the QFI as an entanglement quantifier between the three‐level atom and field. We explore the correlation between the engineering geometric phase and QFI in the absence and presence of energy dissipation effect. We have found that the QFI is very sensitive to the effect of the time‐dependent coupling and energy dissipation.

Dynamics of quantum effects in a three-level system interacting with two-mode time-dependent fields including parametric down conversion and damping

Mohamad Kh. Ismail, A. H. Ahmed, Tarek M. El-Shahat +3 more

In this article, the interaction between a time-dependent damping field and Λ-type of three-level atom is investigated. The effect of the atom and the fields' parameters on the behaviour of the atomic inversion, the generated entanglement between the atom and the cavity modes, the Pancharatnam geometric phase are discussed. It is shown that the phenomena of the collapses and revivals for the three physical quantities depend on the time-dependent coupling and the damping parameter. The long-lived behaviour of the non-classical correlation is observed either on the presence of only time-dependent coupling or at large values of the damping parameter. The damping effect has different features on the three phenomena, where the atomic inversion decays, the upper bounds of entanglement increases and increases periodic time of the Pancharatnam geometric phase.

Phase properties and atomic coherent trapping in the system of a three-level atom interacting with a bimodal field

Jin-sheng Peng, Gao‐xiang Li, Peng Zhou

We have studied the time evolution of the phase operators of the radiation field in the system containing a ssV-type three-level atom interacting with the bimodal field by means of the phase formalism given by Pegg and Barnett [J. Mod. Opt. 36, 7 (1989); Phys. Rev. A 39, 1665 (1989)]. That the atomic coherent trapping will happen in an appropriate initial state of the system has also been verified.
