Abstract

With the help of technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we can fully display the partial trace method to deduce some new density operators of light field. The general form of single-mode density operator is derived in this way from a normalized two-mode generalized squeezed pure state density operator.

Deriving operator identities by two-mode coherent-entangled state representation

On the basis of the new introduced two-mode coherent entangled state representation and the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, we derived some operator identities of the operator functions about the quadrature of two-mode optical field, such as (X1+X2)/21/2 and (μX1+νX2)/λ, which should be helpful to further studying the high order squeezing properties of optical field and to constructing some generalized-squeezed states.

New approach for calculating the normally ordered form of squeeze operators

Fan Hong‐Yi, Haider R. Zaidi, John R. Klauder

A new method for directly obtaining the normally ordered form of single- and two-mode squeeze operators is presented. This method is based on the technique of ``integration within an ordered product.'' The operator expressions are derived using the coherent-state representation as well as the coordinate and the momentum representations. The method is very simple, and the approach has an intuitive basis that makes the squeezing property manifest at the outset.

New light fields based on integration theory within the Weyl ordering product of operators

Ke Zhang, Lanlan Li, Da-wei Guo +1 more

The development of quantum optics theory based on the method of integration within an ordered product of operators (IWOP) has greatly stimulated the study of quantum states in the light field, especially non-Gaussian states with various non-classical properties. In this paper, the two-mode squeezing operator is derived with integral theory within the Weyl ordering product of operators using a combinatorial field in which one mode is a chaotic field and the other mode is a vacuum field. The density operator of the new light field, its entanglement property and photon number distribution are analyzed. We also note that tracing a three-mode pure state can yield this new light field. These methods represent a theoretical approach to investigating new density operators of light fields.

Some New Forms of Squeezed States Studied by the IWOP Technique

Using the recently developed technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, we derive some new expressions for single-mode and one- and two-mode squeezed states. They provide the possibility of finding new ways of generating squeezing.

Three-Mode Squeezing Operators

Fan Hong‐Yi, Shen-xi Yu

We search for squeezing operator which squeezes the two quadratures for three-mode optical field as the behavior of single-mode case. The normally ordered form of the squeezing operator is also obtained by virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators.
