The ground state entanglement in an isotropic three-qubit transverse XY chain with energy current is analysed. A quantum phase transition from a no-energy-current phase to energy-current phase is found when the magnetic field changes. It has also been found that the ground state changes in company with the quantum phase transition.
The ground-state entanglement in a transverse spin-1/2 XX chain with a magnetization current is studied. By introducing a magnetization current to the system, a quantum phase transition to current-carrying phase may be presented with the variation of the driving field λ for the magnetic field h > 1; and the ground-state entanglement arises simultaneously at the critical point of quantum phase transition. In our model, the introduction of magnetization current may result in more entanglement between any two nearest-neighbour spins.
We investigate the quantum phase transition (QPT) and the pairwise thermal entanglement in the three-qubit Heisenberg XXX chain with Dzyaloshinskii—Moriya (DM) interaction under a magnetic field. The ground states of the system exist crossing points, which shows that the system exhibits a QPT. At a given temperature, the entanglement undergoes two sudden changes (platform-like behavior) as the DM interaction or external magnetic field increases. This special property can be used as the entanglement switch, which is also influenced by the temperature. We can modulate the DM interaction or external magnetic field to control the entanglement switch.
We study the entanglement of thermal and ground states in the Heisenberg XY spin chain with an inhomogeneous magnetic field.A general result is found that for two-qubit case, pairwise entanglement is independent of the sign of coupling constant J,magnetic field B,anisotropic parameter γ and inhomogeneous parameter b of the magnetic field. At zero absolute temperature,an analytical expression of concurrence C is given through which we show that the critical magnetic field Bc increases with the increase of inhomogeneity. At finite temperature,we show analytically for the isotropic case and numerically for the anisotropic case that the thermal entanglement can be apparently enhanced by introducing the inhomogeneity of the magnetic field. We also show that for isotropic case the critical temperature Tc is alone an increasing function of the inhomogeneous parameter b,while for anisotropic case,it is determined by both B and b.
The dynamics of quantum anisotropic XY spin chain driven out of equilibrium by a transverse magnetic field, that carry an energy current ( J E ) is investigated. Considering the spin exchange and the flow of energy trapped in magnetic field between two defects in the x y -plane separated by a distance d , we derive an analytical expression of the steady state Green's function of the model using the Grassmann algebra in order to determine the Casimir force between two magnetic defects. As soon as done we find that, cooling the system as well as increasing the anisotropic parameter decrease the energy current and accordingly increase the range of the Casimir force. This symmetry is broken with a significant increase of distance between the defects. A critical temperature is then recorded exhibiting a phase transition according to the anisotropic parameter. An interesting feature of this model is that turning the anisotropic parameter as well as the temperature range will better manipulate the energy flux and control the range of the Casimir force.
